Coke Zero! We’re 19 pt dogs. A six point loss on their homecoming sounds respectable, but I’m not the fan of preemptively predicting a loss. It’s going to be a tough game, but it’s exciting to see our boys play on ESPN2! Hope we are able to put on a show.

Good for them. Morris has already stated how he wished he had done things differently. Kinne cleaned house, “took back texas” and has been very successful. Morris didn’t clean house, focused on HS kids, and has had a slower start to the season. A 5-1 start for us would have been fantastic, but that did not happen. It feels as though the team is trending up. Tulane is going to be a MASSIVE test on ESPN2.

I think Coach O had been great for UNT! I work with kids and one of them noticed my UNT gear, he then asked about the football program, then asked about Coach O. The kid had gone to a few football camps this summer (UT, Baylor, TT, and UNT). I also appreciate how much positivity he speaks about UNT and the UNT brand. He goes out of his way to talk up the Mean Green Also, I sit in section 102. The sheer number of HS kids and their families in our section is crazy! We’ve been sitting there since year 2. There’s been a huge uptick of kids in the stands. All good things.

I thought the ACU game was a great event! Tailgate, timeout entertainment, post game festivities, etc. The winning was the cherry on top. I think that’s the way to go for now.

I think it’s funny how they’ve been putting the albino squirrel on the video board to try and distract the opposing kicker.

It doesn’t feel like it’s likely to happen this season, but I’d gladly be mistaken. It also feels as though Morris has already recognized some of his early mistakes and intends to handle things differently moving forward. I’m thinking year 2 is going to be a MASSIVE leap in the right direction.
