I'll be there with my girlfriend and both parents. Took the last 45min off of work so I could make it there in time. Also, the game is on my gf's birthday, but we mutually decided to celebrate it on the weekend instead, cause football.

Like everyone else has pointed out, beer lines were too long, the heat sucked, and I hated the 11am start. But I'll take that any day to see a performance like UNT showed on Sat. Just a great time all around. Oh, and a special +1 for being able to see Deion Sanders Jr embarass himself.

Yeah, cause god forbid people want to support our athletic programs that aren't as popular as that pigskin game.

Going to East Side after work today to pick up my package, can't wait for the game tomorrow

I'm actually pretty happy with the schedule this year. A good number of home games, and a couple good basketball schools coming to see us in Denton. I may not be as big of a basketball fan as I have been in the past, but I'll be there if work doesn't get in the way.

I can't forget this game. Right when UNT scored my friends and I were jumping up and down going crazy and as they line up for the extra point I yell out "just don't miss it!". Needless to say I got some nasty looks from them when it got blocked. Such a sick ending.

That is so much better than I would have ever guessed. Looks like I'll be spending too much money on beer this season.

Young alumni tickets, will prolly sit in front of a barrier on the student side or on the last row. All about getting a decent view.

Looking forward to the Boise/Ole Miss game as well as Tulsa/Tulane. Granted I'm just happy enough that college football is back on my TV.

11AM games are never ideal, but at least this shows that we're getting decent TV coverage. Might have to head to Cool Beans beforehand for a bloody mary or two.....or five.

Nobody from the WBC ever said that, the story about that came from a satirical news site similar to The Onion. Anyways, the WBC doesn't believe in funerals because they are against worshiping the dead. Phelps was also excommunicated back in August too btw, so not only will there not be a funeral for him, there wouldn't even be anyone that would go in the first place.

I'll be at the game tonight, although I can't say my hopes are very high.

That's pretty cool, I hope they our able to remember this for years to come.

It's not just a bowl game thing. This has been part of many team's strategies for years.

Easily the most satisfying game I've ever attended in person. Being able to experience it with my parents (who are both UNT alums) and my girlfriend (UNT student) made it that much better. Can't wait for what next year has in store!
