  1. I'm not really understanding the logic of this post. So, because I'm not afraid of an outbreak, I should be completely comfortable working around people who are infected? I mean, I don't think there will be an outbreak of smallpox anytime soon, but I wouldn't really care to be around anyone infected with it.
  2. I don't personally see the problem with moral victories. For instance, I have a pretty good memory of the Georgia game from last year, and was happy overall with our performance. It still sucked to watch UNT lose, but overall I came out feeling pretty good once all was said and done. With that being said, I'm still not a fan of sugarcoating losses. It just depends on the expectations going in to the game.
  3. Yeah, not really worried about this at all. Feel bad for the guy that caught it though, I hope he's able to make a full recovery.
  4. At this point, I just want a bowl game. I'll get picky once we can get to 7 wins. With that being said, both of those would be solid. I can't even make it to HOD this year anyway, so I wouldn't mind seeing the team get a trip to the Bahamas.
  5. Yeah I'm kinda curious about how they could've gotten this bad this quickly myself. Granted last year they weren't great, but they still won 5 games including playing UCF close in Dallas. Just a terrible team now, my god.
  6. Eating with the family Friday night, and then going to see a concert at the Granada on Saturday night. While watching as many college football games as I can.
  7. I personally like to sit and just focus on the game, instead of standing and cheering the whole time. I don't mind those who do that btw, it's just not my thing. I enjoy the game all the same, it's just a different way of enjoying it than others. Anyways, as for the topic of the thread. I do feel bad for Greer, the guy is only human after all. Granted I can't say I really want to see him throw another pass in a UNT uniform, but I do hope he's able to continue to play elsewhere.
  8. Can baseball please just go away already? I hate how much it cuts in to football season.
  9. Poor guy. Glad to see him making the smart decision here though. I've never been his biggest supporter (I'm a UT fan too, sorry), but he seems like a good guy and like UNT90 said, I hope he got out in time.
  10. Yeah I'm honestly just going just to see Immortal Technique, and he doesn't even go on until 10pm. Regardless the game will always come first before anything, rain or shine.
  11. Going to the game and Oaktopia Fest right afterwards, I really hope our rain chances don't keep growing...
  12. Looks like I might be going solo on this one. My parents will be out of town and my gf has an exam to study for (although I don't really get it, being a Sat and all, but whatever). I'm pretty giddy to see DW start though.
  13. Now it's showing possible PM storms again. Granted the forecast will probably change again before the game, but still worth noting.
  14. That's funny considering our game isn't the one being broadcast on ESPN.
  15. I remember seeing those helmets on them last year when they played Army in the Cotton Bowl. At least they'll have a crowd to show them off to this time around.
  16. I'd take a smaller crowd if it means a better chance at winning.
  17. Good for him, dude definitely deserves it.
  18. Meh, that's kinda crappy of him IMO. Cause god forbid a school have a couple down seasons.
  19. I won't be able to make it, but will definitely keep an eye on the score Fri night. Seen a couple games this year already, fun team to watch.
  20. I'm there regardless of weather, but I wouldn't mind having a nice clear evening after putting up with the oven that was Saturday.
  21. I personally love Maryland and Oregon's uniforms. It's like they're so tacky and over the top that it works, for me at least.
