  1. It was mentioned on the GMG podcast last night that people would be really excited about the names being mentioned for OC/DC.
  2. He has one more year if he wants it. I might have his medical redshirt year wrong, but it’s something like this: 2017- redshirted 2018- medical redshirt 2019- Redshirt freshmen 2020- COVID 2021- Redshirt sophomore 2022- Redshirt junior
  3. If Harris decides to leave, I expect UTSA to comeback to Earth. G5s don’t just replace a guy like that. And whenever Traylor leaves I have serious doubts they will continue winning. Outside of football, their programs are bad to mediocre.
  4. Looking back, it's crazy that La Tech fired him after 1 losing season. He had them towards the top of CUSA for 6 straight years and they kick him out after one down year. Makes us look like the most patient program in CFB history.
  5. I'd rather have TCU's defensive coordinator, Joe Gillespie. https://gofrogs.com/staff-directory/joe-gillespie/652
  6. 2019: 4-8 2020: 4-6 2021: 6-7 2022: 7-6 We’re 1 loss away from 4th straight seasons of non-winning football. That should be unacceptable for any FBS program.
  7. It’s a local bowl on a Saturday against one of the best known G5 programs. We should be happy. It cracks me up seeing G5 fanbases complain about their bowl. Do they not realize outside the NY6 and a few others, everyone views bowl games on the same level?
  8. I said we’d likely win 5 games. We have 7 teams on next year’s schedule that went .500 or worse with 1 more game to be announced. Not sure how thinking we’ll win 5 games is “crazy”?
  9. No, the problem is they can’t get off the field. Like StealthEagle said, they’re 123rd on 3rd down conversions.
  10. Smatresk and high level donors. I imagine there will be some kind of announcement before the bowl game.
  11. If we avoid a lot of transfers, we’ll have a TON of starters back next year. I think 5 would be the most likely number. La Tech, ACU, Navy, Temple, Tulsa, Memphis, and UAB are all winnable.
  12. Really was thinking of getting season tickets next year with the improved AAC schedule. But if we run it back with Littrell I’m not doing it. We know what we’ll be. A mediocre G5 that will struggle to get 5 or 6 wins.
  13. I think fans would still go to neutral site games. It's just on-campus would be such a better experience and TV product. I'm not looking at this based on what might give UNT a better chance to win, but what would make the best playoff. Who wouldn't want to see Alabama play Michigan at the Big House in the snow? And there's zero chance UNT would ever have more fans than a P5. If we got lucky enough to play in the Cotton Bowl we could make it a neutral field, but any other location would be a de facto home game for the P5.
  14. Why? On-campus would be way more exciting and make the games accessible to fans/students. There's already way too many corporate driven neutral site games in the regular season.
  15. You know what's better than bowls? On-campus playoff games. I get a lot of people have nostalgia for bowl games, but they're part of an outdated model that needs to be left behind.
  16. After the SFA blowout, I suggested Mitchell was on the hot seat. Of course, Vito disagreed because she recently got an extension and made the NIT last year 🙄
  17. Barring a miraculous turnaround, Buzz Williams is likely to be fired by A&M this season. Guessing McCasland will be high up on their list.
  18. That's not what we were talking about... It was about the UNT admin and donors being pro-Littrell and wanting to give him an extension.
  19. Administration? Sure Fans? Be serious lol...UH and SMU compete every year for the worst fanbase for a winning program in the AAC.
  20. Okay, but that's how a lot (if not most) of programs operate. Just the other week a story broke that Chris Del Conte wanted to bring Sonny Dykes to UT, but was overruled by donors. I'd love for our donors to step away and let the AD do his job, but sadly, that's not realistic.
  21. What makes it "clearly true"? Because he wasn't fired last year like you wanted?
