  1. Is this the fault of our staff or the production staff or are they one in the same?
  2. Hate the geay. Not a color of Tech like black. La Tech/Tulane is boring.
  3. His cardiologist is probably a SMU fan!
  4. Rough start for Whitfield. I think we all need to remember that this young man was a heck of a HS running back who moved to DB as a true freshman last year and won the starting job and had an excellent season. Being an old DB, it is a tough position because you are out on an island almost every play. He has to use this as motivation because I really don't expect him to be on the bench long unless it gets to him mentally.
  5. I remember it clearly and always wondered how close our guys were to punching that POS ref in the endzone. Hate UT.
  6. Hard to tell much about the team from a 3 minute video, but it appears Wenning has good touch and turnovers played a big part in the game. http://youtu.be/dfc1kzQ8CTQ
  7. QB: Thompson; Sr. RB: Byrd; Sr. WR: Chancellor; Sr. & Smith; Sr. TE: Miller; Sr. OL: Anyiam; Sr. DE: Sarge/Bellazin; Sr. DT: Abbe/Boutwell; Sr. LB: Orr/Wright; Sr. DB: Trice/Jackson; Sr. I am sorry, but I don't buy into the the "senior laden" team arguement. Sure, we have some key pieces that will graduate this year and I don't mean to diminish any of the players listed above but outside of Chancellor and the Dline, I am not worried about the talent level drop. The worries about the Dline are more about depth, because Mac needs to find some beef for the middle of the line.
  8. I would like to see Boutwell moved outside. At 248 lbs. he is getting push around. Put Sir Calvin in for size purposes alone.
  9. 8 pages of pent up frustration from fans that want to win. That is all.
  10. Thanks. I was scrolling looking for CUSA prior to looking at the teams. That would be awesome.
  11. Why is Loving not ready? Is it physical, grades, what?
  12. I don't care if we run or pass on first down except when we are left with second and eight all day like we were against Ohio, and when it is obvious what we are going to do based on our formation. I would just like to see us be unpredictable, run out of passing formations and vice versa to keep the defense off balance. Plus, the zone read where we string it out to the sideline isn't working. We get our big yards on the ground when we run at the defense.
  13. There is really now way to tell unless a player or coach steps forward, but from my observations during the games, it appears this is all Chico calling the plays. I would assume Mac is involved in the critical plays, but even during timeouts Mac is not heavily involved in the player huddle. I think the offense if fine system wise, but but the play calling has become predictable. First down, 1 RB, 3 TE and 1 WR is a sellout to run. The opponent knows it and stacks the line. We just need to be more unpredictable, and we will be fine. Have some huevos. That is what got Boise St. over the hump, be unpredictable and have confidence.
  14. Too bad they aren't called Oregon or Oklahoma State. The penalties would have never happened.
  15. We seem to run better hitting the holes quick with a north and south type running game. The zone read that begins laterally, towards the sidelines, seem to hurt us. Did anyone else notice this?
  16. No mystery. Saw him at both games with a red cap on backwards and a clipboard in hand.
  17. I think your soccer intelligence is just fine.
  18. At my age, I have had to do this and it works...oh, wait.
