I agree. It was nice to hear from the Idaho fans after the first game about how well they were treated and the good time thet had in Denton. Much prefer to be thought of in tgat manner as opposed to being the LSU of North Texas.

Damn right he did! He set the tone and turned the game around. D kept us in the game, DT won it!

Stepping into throws, throwing on the run, running the ball, leading the team back, tough SOB, overall great game. He deserves this and I believe this is the game he needed to really give him the confidence for the rest of the year. Great job DT

Way to show great character and come back and win today! If you had revealed the amount of quit I experienced in the chat room today, you would be 1-2 heading to Georgia after a 60-3 beating. Thank God you didn't quit and were rewarded with a great win. Super leadership by DT, Trice, Byrd, Chancellor, Smith, etc.... Proud of every single one of you!

Actually, Boykkn was a high school QB moved to RB last year by TCU and then moved back to QB when their starter got busted.

Rough start for Whitfield. I think we all need to remember that this young man was a heck of a HS running back who moved to DB as a true freshman last year and won the starting job and had an excellent season. Being an old DB, it is a tough position because you are out on an island almost every play. He has to use this as motivation because I really don't expect him to be on the bench long unless it gets to him mentally.

I remember it clearly and always wondered how close our guys were to punching that POS ref in the endzone. Hate UT.

Sure, we have some key pieces that will graduate this year and I don't mean to diminish any of the players listed above but outside of Chancellor and the Dline, I am not worried about the talent level drop. The worries about the Dline are more about depth, because Mac needs to find some beef for the middle of the line.

I would like to see Boutwell moved outside. At 248 lbs. he is getting push around. Put Sir Calvin in for size purposes alone.
