I agree. Try following this team for close to 50 years. It is never easy, but it is my school and my team. I put this game squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff. So tired ofvthe read option on 1st down when the opponents never kry on the QB leading to 2nd and 8 over and over and over. Canales says DT is the smartest QB he has coached yet he can't fix basic footwork issues that lead to inaccurate throws over and over again. We still play not to lose instead of attacking the other team. Ohio got picked apart through the air by Louiseville yet we run over and over with unimaginative play calling. Now I know many said a close loss would be alright since Ohio has a good team and was picked at or near the top of the MAC, but that game was our's for the taking. We should be 2-0 now, but the players have go put this game behind them, and the coaching staff has to have the team ready from the start and put together an aggressive game plan for Ball State. We can't afford to go into Georgia 1-2.

Too many 2nd and 8's, bad routes on third down ending up 1 yard short of a first down, missed tackles, and two big plays. Plus the missed FG. Should be 10-7 us at the half.

Great show. Couldn't believe I was watching a show about my alma mater. I second all the comments from above, loved what George D had to say about our program and traditions and hope DT has the best year ever for a senior QB at North Texas. Love his attitude. We will go as DT goes, and I have a great feeling about where this is headed.

1st, your previous post gets a comedy silver medal. TCU does not draw 50k per game, and you really tout a fear the frog banner when you are really a lizard. That would be equal to Weatherford High waving a "Fear the Kangaroo" banner. Frogs are nothing to fear. Also, your game last week was more of a home fame for LSU since they outdrew you by 2 to 1. We win and it isn't close. I too watched DT check through his progressions a number of times and believe he has turned the corner. He won't have a game like he did against Idaho, but we will win and it will be easier than many thought. The big plays early against Idaho worried me, but many national writers predicted we might have trouble early considering we didn't have any film on a Petrino coached Idaho, but that we would make adjustments and run away with the game. They were right on all fronts. I think this defense has the makings of our defenses of old that just hammered people. Orr, Lee, Trice and company were great and Will Wright also stood out along with Bellazin and Lincoln on the Dline. UNT 34 OU 14

I was with you until you said Denton loves its high school football. Denton does, but they don't support it unless one of their kid's is playing. Sad but true considering the years of success Denton HS football has experienced.

Gee, nobody saw this coming from Redskins fan. I really don't have anything against Houston, but the whole Houston/Dallas rivalry is pushed much harder by Houston. Beating Dallas in the preseason is like a Super Bowl win for the Texans. Super Bowl you Texans' fans ask? It is the game you play in that crowns the champion of the NFL.
