A potential 11 seed for WKU seems really high to me. I would think that they would get something along a 13 seed if things were to go their way this year. Maybe I'm underrating how WKU is viewed by those that seed the tournament.

Definitely major props to Jamario for his performance. He showed the brilliance that has made him so dangerous over the years. I'll miss getting to watch him on Saturdays at Fouts. Congratulations on an awesome performance!

Very entertaining recap. It was hard to see specifics of the post game fight from the deck area.

All of what you wrote it true. The NT-Memphis NO Bowl was far and away the best crowd that we had during our bowl run. I just wish that CUSA could provide Troy with a better opponent on the filed. I understand the contractual situation between CUSA and all their bowls...I just mean from a SBC perspective. I really believe that Troy has a strong team this year...certainly one that could compete with (and imo beat) UCF or Tulsa. Would be nice if they had the opportunity to show it...but I understand the reasoning for selecting Memphis for the game.

There was a ton of activity after many plays. The whole game was bogged down with this nonsense...which sucked cause it caused many unnecessary delay in the game...and the weather was so terrible. It made me hate WKU that much more. I said it in another thread and I'll say it again F the Toppers!

Hopefully Troy will play in the NO Bowl again. They should crush Memphis...which is exactly what the SBC needs. I just wish there was a better opponent than Memphis coming out of CUSA to play Troy. Oh well, I'm pulling for the Trojans the rest of the way.

That WKU team acted like a bunch of jackasses and it ended up biting them in the ass in the end. That was some of the doucheiest behavior I've ever seen from an opposing team. The whole game was mired with this nonsense. That being said, I can't wait for the Topper's to show up to the Pit for hoop this year. They just bumped MTSU off of the top of my list of "Most hated Sunbelt Teams". F the Toppers

It was definitely one of the most miserable games I've ever sat through weather wise...and this includes some very cold games at Soldier Filed growing up. I didn't sit in my seats for the game, instead choosing to stay under the tent on the deck area. I'm glad I went though (and have a girlfriend cool enough to stick it out in that crappy weather) because getting to see Jamario's greatness one last time was worth it. What a great performance on Senior day from a guy that's given some truly memorable performances in a Mean Green uniform.

Rick We could see and hear you leading the cheers in the stands (I was under the tent for the game). It sounded really good coming from a relatively small group of die hards. I really think that cheer has a chance of catching on next season. Great Job! Also...Kudos to Jamario. He had a monster game and was the reason that we ended up winning. Just vintage Jamario last night. Great way to close out his playing days at Fouts.

That MT game is embarrassing for Belt hoop. CBL...Did you see any of the OK State/Marquette game? That was an ass kicking of the highest order.

Oh well...Alabama paid $600,000 grand for ULM to come to their house and hand em a loss. That's just plain funny. I can see how they'd be a little touchy about it though.

They are a good team, no doubt...however, their fans come across as some of the most pompous in the Belt. For a group that see themselves as the cornerstone of Belt basketball, I've always been surprised at how restrictive they are when it comes to interacting with other Belt fans on their website. Seems very "small time" to me. Just my opinion.

This worries me a bit. It has seemed that NT has been "snake bit" when it comes to NO (and specifically BO) in previous years. Could make for an interesting match up down the line since both teams seem to have added significant firepower to this years squads. Hopefully with our current team, we will buck that trend.

Thanks for the wrap up. Impressive win for NO. The Belt can definitely use some more wins like this. I've been impressed with the "Top of the Belt" teams so far this season. CBL...What are your thoughts on the WKU - Zags match up? Also, the FAU thing...I'm not too surprised. They seemed pretty good on paper, but I wanted to actually see something from them first. What has happened to the Cajuns? They used to be perennial Belt favorites along with WKU?

They are a joke. I never pay attention to them.
