  1. Today
  2. Mason today 9/11, 75 yds, 1 TD as 2nd QB in 28-27 win... https://www.riderville.com/games/6396/edmonton-elks-vs-saskatchewan-roughriders/?_ga=2.128681292.1961647482.1716681577-1329720891.1716681573
  3. Yesterday
  4. Yeah but are you truly happy? Because the other dudes in this thread have a consistent and contagious joyful spirit that pulls in others that I know you’re absolutely envious of.
  5. Yeah the dealer is tough but makes it fun when you beat him!
  6. Sorry to hear about KD but pleaseed about Mason’s progress.
  7. I don't think we really know how this is going to play out. At first blush it appears that the G5 schools will be a farm club for the P5's in football and men's basketball Also, I assume there will no longer be a requirement to fund a specified number of sports, but just a guess. If not, where is the money coming from? I doubt UNT students will vote to increase their athletic fee., and our alumni have historically [with a few exceptions] provided little in the way of a financial commitment to our Athletic Department.
  8. Is that per day? Per month? Not much money. My wife spends that much in a week of shopping. Maybe I just don't understand.
  9. Someone needs to make a movie that follows a “rag tag” college football team as they struggle to rebuild their football team after a massive NCAA scandal. With all their 3 star and above football players stripped away by P4s, a new coach, must assemble a team from a motley crew of non-athletic students and a farmer turned quarterback. Despite the odds, this underdog team must come together to face their powerhouse rivals, learning about teamwork and integrity along the way.
  10. I'm a bottom-line type of guy. How much will UNT get?
  11. Yeah, misread that one. 50 million, 50 thousand...
  12. The Jared Mosley appearance on Matt Mosley’s podcast is posted here and worth a listen. Sounded like non-revenue sports will take a hit but football and basketball will continue on.
  13. Graduate transfer? How many years of eligibility remaining?
  14. UL-Lafayette and Utah State getting $50M more than us…let that sink in. Dickey used to beat them down en route to conference titles.
  15. Reading is hard. I didn’t catch that it was based on AP poll finish.
  16. I’d imagine it will eventually get demoted to something that resembles true college football as we knew it. Scholarships only, maybe a stipend, but playing in purely regional games to bolster attendance since TV wont pay much for the non-power teams.
  17. Hilarious. You were just chomping at the bit to have someone ask or comment on your occupation so you could post this. Feel better now?
