Relationships are what came to mind for McDorman, a North Texas-bound lineman who had a three-week run of blocking at least one kick this year and did his best to make plays and set things up for his linebackers.

He had a team-high 13 tackles for loss and 59 total tackles.

"I'm going to miss it," McDorman said. "Not getting to play with these teammates ever again. I've been playing with some of these guys since Pee Wee football. Kind of sad, but I'll get through it.

"I was proud that my junior and senior year we got to the fourth round of the playoffs, as far as any team at Rider. I just wish we could have gotten farther and been the first team to go five and possibly six, that would have been awesome."
