I realy outdid myself next week to make amends to the four of you who like reading these Monday recaps. I’m preparing for a holiday trip that will take me away from the last abortion – er game, of the season, but I figure I get my wings for sitting through WKU last year, so have fun closing this one out, f’ers. I wrote most of this recap yesterday afternoon, so if I missed anything, please let me know.

Remember, you guys are the future! Keep up the great work! Don't forget that the basketball team already has as many wins this season as Dodge has in his coaching career!

There’s a new blog in town, and it is making some complex topics make sense with deep analysis you can’t find in a boxscore: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393822

Tip of the hat to Jub-Jub and Hank: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393685

And SMU fan hoping we finish the season on a “high” note? What a low blow: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393685

It sounds crazy, but if you had bet me that GGII knows what “WTF” means, I might have hesitated to bet that he does. You learn something everyday – ROFLMAO! http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44531

Game prediction threads always seem so sad after the fact: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44513

Find the bright spots from this season – but don’t wear out your keyboard with it all: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44535

MTSU, settin’ records: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44542

We’re now debating the best way to heckle Dodge in the last game: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44533. As long as you show up, go nuts… and cheer for the school and players: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44546

MTSU fans are suprisingly nice for all we’ve done to them throughout the years: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=44540

The more you know, the funnier this thread is (but don’t worry, it’s funny no matter what) http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393944

It’salways fun to check in with guys who were in the mix for the job two years ago: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393980

Greendozer runs up the white flag: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393980. Kram, what say you?

A poll on Dodge’s future takes a harrowing, Gov. Clayton-inspired turn: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...=44545&st=0

To expound on Smitty’s point, imagine what would happen if most teams didn’t feel bad for us when they went to the locker room to make adjustments: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry393993

New coach ideas? Just don’t leak them on the USM board: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...44543&st=15

My favorite – and possibly last – Dodge defense eva, courtesy of Jimmyjames:

Avery is one of the greatest NBA basketball coaches ever!

Romo is as good a Favre or Staubach or better.

Fire Dodge, he won't get it done at UNT!

Also, does Aztecskin remind anyone else who comes up to a group of bankers who have been debating the autoindustry for a cuple of hours and then interrupts to say “how bout that bailout, huh?” If we brought Dodge in to improve the offense, we surely expected more than a boost in grabage time stats and less than a 10 ppg improvement. I don’t want to attack a fellow blogger and new poster too much, but seriously?

Fun times with post-game quotes: http://www.gomeangreen.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry394000

“It makes it even better being a Texas kid,” Tanner said. “The thing about Texas is, when you live in Texas, it’s all about Texas. There’s no other state. Texas is like a nation of its own. For North Texas to let me slip away, it feels like I’m a traitor in their eyes. It’s exciting to play against them.”

Tanner scored on runs of 1, 12, 19, 36 and 66 yards and added a 92-yard return on the kickoff to open the second half for good measure on a night he broke the conference single-game touchdown record set by UNT wide receiver Casey Fitzgerald against Navy last season. Louisiana-Lafayette wide receiver Jason Cherry matched that mark earlier this season in a win over the Mean Green.
