Been awhile since I have been on but just wanted to let those going down for the LSU game to swing by the Team KATT Tailgate and see how real Tiger Fans act.

On the menu is gonna be a couple of fried turkeys and maybe if we can get the cooker we are gonna do a pig. Maybe!

KATT, no offense - but the VERY LAST THING in the world that folks around here want to do is have our crappy season rubbed in our faces... watching us get our ass kicked at LSU would be hard enough - the notorious LSU fans would just make it worse (you know - the bad apples that even you admitted to be in existence)... I simply can't put myself through that torture... I never planeed on going, but I would bet that a lot of those that WERE going to go, have decided to E-Bay the tikets and save the gas/hotel money by this point.

Thanks Katt, if the season was going better then I think you would see more people willing to sit through the slaughter. Right now we are just having to push ourselves (and each other) to show up to the remaining home game, lol.

BTW, what in the hell happened with the busses this year? I saw that in the paper and was thinking about you, hehehe. Did you guys have a few drunk fans take it over the top again? I don't remember the team but I read something about a bus of visiting fans getting rocked or something by some LSU fans. It was a bus that came in from New Orleans (not sure the details)... what happened with all that? Were you there?

No this is what happened the bus was the Tennessee TEAM bus, it had band people on it. What happened was that bus was lagging behind the football players bus and got away from the trooper escort that they always have.

And yes some idoit fans choose to show their inner asshole and take advantage of the bus leaving the herd.

A bottle did get thrown and it did break a window BUT there were no injuries and that has been the only problem this year. Even for the Auburn game this past weekend nothing happened, which is really strange.

Not that I am defending the actions of those idoits, and I do not believe in making excuses but being that it was the first time in about a month for louisiana people to finally kick back and drink alittle they lost control and possibly alot of built up frusration was vented on that bus.

Oh yeah that and the Tennessee fans were being BASTARDS on their message boards and on ours and it got people ticked off.

Those are good reasons to throw a bottle through a bus window, possibly causing injury to someone inside. No to mention the anxiety the people inside the bus must have felt, watching an LSU mob surround them. And I doubt there were any arrests made. Right?

And as far as arrest go no there were not any because once the cops came they all took off. And when there is that many people around hard to pick out one drunk guy from the next.

Why try to excuse the behavior?? These fans know that type of behaviour is overlooked, tolerated and even pointed to with pride by some. They know the administration isn't going to do anything serious to stop it. It's whay LSU has this reputation. They don't seemed to be too concerned with correcting it.

It was only 5 to 7 people committing the acts and when they take off to run and get into the crowd there is no way the police would have been able to tell who it was.

It was 5 to 7 because there was a police report filed and that what was on it. They did not rock the bus from side to side I dont care how much they had to drink. They were more than likely freshman at the college and were doing the samethings that are done in high schools across america and that is TORMANT the other team.

Did it get out of hand yes the mintue a bottle went flying yes it got out of hand.

What I get sick of is people like you who talk about it like LSU is the only damn place that this happens. Tennessee has players breaking laws on their team, Ole Miss has some of the worse possible fans I have ever meet. It takes a SICK HUMAN BEING to kick the crutches out from underneath a guy when he has a full leg cast on. I have driven through College Station to Ft Hood with my LSU flags on my car and have things thrown at it. At Arkansas somebody BURNED an Auburn fans VAN.

It happens everywhere, does that make any of it right HELL NO! But because LSU is the only big name school in Louisiana then all of the media attention is forced upon it, and things like this get brought to light more easily then other places.

But dont sit there and quote urban legends to me or anyone else like the happened to you first hand, because 7 times out 10 you heard them from a friend. When the same story is told 100 times and the only thing that changes in it is the person it happened to more than likely it is made up.
