Future UNT Bowler wins State

Beth Carter from Allen won the Girls State Singles title yesterday defeating her opponent 2-1 in the finals. She will be attending UNT in the Fall and is a Music Major, I must say thank you to the Music Department in helping us land her for the next 4 years. Update: Allen also just won the Ladies State Team Title for the 2nd straight year. Beth Carter becomes the first girl to win State Singles and Team in Same Year.

  If I'm being completely honest, I don't even really care who turns into commits. I've had a hard time caring about the recruiting cycles in football lately. You get guys, several don't even make it to campus or leave before the fall, and others end up being busts so the hype isn't even worth investing in emotionally. Basketball is more steady, IMO.
