I'd be all for getting Holgorson if he became available.

Holgorson in a heartbeat. But isn't he making $2mil/year? No way he's going to drop down to $800k.

That would probably be about what he'd make as an OC at a P5 program maybe more. So if he is fired and wants to be a HC I think he'd be willing to talk.

Just NO!!! WE have already gone the P5 retread routes in Football and WBB and it did not work out, time for a fresh face, but of course I am sure RV and 17 are just giddy now seeing Golden is available, fits their mold.

I suppose you're right... but would he want to rehab his image a little as the OC of a P5 and then get another shot? Or come to a toxic NT and hope for the best?

If he's interested, he would be my #1 choice out of every single name thrown around on here. Being the man at TXTech, OKSt & Houston for a while, I'm sure he's got a ton of TX HS recruiting ties.
