  1. But hey we run a very clean program at UNT. Everyone else can cheat and bend the rules but I am proud that we run a clean program. I am proud that we run a clean program. I am proud…
  2. Arkansas has offered him a PWO https://www.kark.com/pig-trail-nation/arkansas-extends-pwo-to-daryl-searcy-upcoming-visit-to-fayetteville-planned/
  3. Tough news for Coach Littrell. Let's keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers right now.
  4. Is there any “signing day” for participants in the portal? Seems to me the portal has removed any signing day deadlines that previously existed. Seems to me that any player can leave at any time without any penalty anymore.
  5. I know you mean well but why exactly would Colorado State be a better job?
  6. Someone on twitter or facebook posted he was injured. I do not know of this myself just reporting what others have said.
  7. Agree with you but I also think UAB was hot as heck from outside shooting in our game. I mean for a long period of time they could not miss a shot. Will be hard for them to keep that up. But make no mistake UAB is a very good team.
  8. I really hope so because I would like to see some of the young guys get a chance on the court. Especially the young post Morgan whose father player here.
  9. Following their win over the University of North Carolina-Charlotte Thursday night, North Texas took down Old Dominion University in a 69-56 win Saturday night. The Mean Green (13-4, 6-1 Conference USA) shot the ball at high efficiency in the first half, nailing 75 percent of their field goals, with six of those shots from beyond the arc. Going into halftime, North Texas held a 40-21 lead over ODU (7-11, 2-3 C-USA). Head coach Grant McCasland said the team’s ability to share the ball was crucial to getting the early lead. “There were a lot of guys contributing to baskets,” McCasland said. “When teams can’t focus on one person, then I think that’s ultimately how you separate.” Midway through the second half, North Texas began to struggle on the offensive side of the ball and failed to score for five minutes. During that stretch, Old Dominion drew within seven points of the Mean Green lead, but never got any closer afterward. “The biggest thing is just staying together,” sophomore guard Rubin Jones said. “In the second half, they went on a run, and everyone was talking about keeping the next man up.” Read more: https://www.ntdaily.com/early-offensive-effort-boosts-mens-basketball-to-win/
  10. Ousmane is really struggling this half. JJ is also being sloppy. Need to straighten this crap out!
  11. No details but it it appears serious as he is out for the half according to Hank. On a separate note, sure enjoy Jacob Holman being on the broadcast. Would like to see him on a full time basis. Also why is the play by play guy wearing ODU colors? Isn’t he a UNT grad?
  12. The Perry injury appears serious. He is on the bench and I just noticed he put his warmup shirt back on which typically means he’s done. Let’s keep him in our prayers and hope for a speedy rehab.
  13. I would be interested to know why @emmitt01 changed his seats? We’re you trying to get closer to the court or what?
  14. This is indeed very concerning. I fear that we will be near the bottom of the AAC in facilities and salaries. We really need to start making some moves or the differences between us will become insurmountable.
  15. Is this a new formation of the Pit Crew from back in the early aught? If so I am very pleased to see this reformation. They made it very difficult for the Charlotte squad tonight.
  16. So basically what you are practicing here is what we term at work as "ageism", meaning Coach Passwaters is far to young to be so successful early on in his career. If so I respectfully ask you to reconsider your position.
  17. The problem with that theory is that for every Alabama there is also a Kentucky or Missouri or whatnot that needs a couple of G5 wins to pad their lack of success in the division that participate in. I sadly see us in the same position in the AAC. We won't dominate budgets and facilities in the AAC like we do in CUSA. So I don't see us winning as many games in the conference as we are able to in CUSA. That makes me think @Wren Baker will need to start scheduling more division 2 opponents in our non conference or lower tier teams. This makes me think they will never want us to go away. They need us for non conference wins.
