  1. He was a great great man. Makes me so sad.
  2. I agree 100%. If Seth could pull this off I would be good. It would make me feel like we have a shot to be good.
  3. I have read a lot of the post on here from both the insiders and the outsiders and have come to the conclusion that we are stuck with Seth for another year. It sucks, and I am not happy about it but I am accepting it as the reality.
  4. We need to set our sights a little hire there don’t you think?
  5. 128? That has to be a mistake. I could swear to you that section was sold out yesterday. Also can we lay off the attendance BS? UTSA was 12-1 and had huge bald spots in the stands. Let’s be honest that Covid is hurting at all events.
  6. Yeah Rowdy Talk disrespects us constantly. Bunch of chumps.
  7. They were much less on AXS direct as I sawr it.
  8. What is your infatuation with printed names on jerseys? Buy a damn program man or print off a damn roster.
  9. No it’s very sad how you guys were such a fraud this season and how you hit your asses beat last night on national TV. Way to represent the AAC.
  10. Even without a particularly sharp effort, the Wichita State men’s basketball team was a little more than halfway home to its most impressive offensive performance of the season in last Saturday’s game against North Texas. After 22 minutes of play, the Shockers held a 39-29 lead and had scored 1.30 points per possession — well above their season average of 0.98 points per possession — against a pretty stingy North Texas defense that entered the game ranked top-60 nationally in KenPom’s adjusted defensive efficiency. No one could have predicted what came next. Read more at: https://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wichita-state/article256784632.html#storylink=cpy
  11. UNT brings 5-game win streak into bowl matchup with Miami (Ohio) North Texas carries a five-game winning streak and a near-homefield advantage with it against Miami (Ohio) in the inaugural Frisco Football Classic on Thursday in the north Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas. The bowl game is a new one, created after the regular season to help accommodate a game for every eligible team. Both the Mean Green and the RedHawks finished their regular campaigns with 6-6 records, with North Texas dominating previously unbeaten No. 15 UTSA at home on Nov. 27 to become bowl-eligible. North Texas and Miami will be meeting for the first time. The Mean Green rely on a punishing rushing attack and defense while the RedHawks have been at their best via the pass. 12. The former Texas Longhorns quarterback and North Texas football coach has capped a storied career, Saturday, by leading Austin Westlake to its third consecutive state championship with a 40-21 over Denton Guyer. Dodge has now won seven championships. The first four were at Southlake Carroll. Dodge announced retirement before his 23rd season as a head coach. read more: https://www.wbap.com/2021/12/20/successful-north-texas-football-coach-retires/
  13. You seem like a very level headed guy. I wish you the best but trying to reason with these people is really difficult. Everyone is back on the Seth bandwagon it seems.
  14. The Frisco Football Classic is set to take place on December 23, 2021, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. This is the bowl game that was added after the regular season ended to make sure that every team was accommodated for bowl season. North Texas will meet Miami (OH) in this game, which DraftKingshas listed Miami (OH) as a 3 point favorite, while the over/under is 54. Kameron Butler Defensive Line-Miami (OH) You have to give some love to the defensive side of the ball, where the RedHawks have a couple of pass rushers that deserve a long look in this game. Lonnie Phelps deserves credit as the team’s leading sack leader at 8.5, but Kameron Butler is just a fraction behind him, with 8. Butler also has 3 forced fumbles, 49 total tackles, and an interception on the season. So, it’s been a Hell of a year. 15. Why exactly is that an unreasonable expectation? I mean 4 and 5 stars or whatnot, why do you continue to set boundaries on what we can accomplish here?
  16. WICHITA, Kansas – The North Texas men's basketball team beat Wichita St. Saturday afternoon 62-52. WSU entered the game having lost just three non-conference home games in the last 10 years. The Mean Green (7-3) trailed by seven at the half but held the Shockers (8-3) to just 18 points in the final 20 minutes including a nearly 13-minute scoring drought where UNT completed a 20-0 run to take the lead. "This group found a way defensively and asserted themselves," said head coach Grant McCasland. "So proud of the team as a whole. To come to together and fight. It was a beautiful thing." UNT was led Saturday by newcomer Tylor Perry who tied his season-high with 23 points and was a perfect 10-of-10 at the free throw line. Also having a huge game was sixth-year senior guard JJ Murray. The former walk-on defended Wichita St.'s top players Saturday and finished with a career-high eight rebounds. "Whenever it's the hardest JJ always comes through," McCasland said. "That's the JJ way. He took over the game defensively in the second half." Sophomore Abou Ousmane scored in double figures for a third straight game and senior Thomas Bell had scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half to go along with a team-high four assists. UNT forced WSU into 12 second half turnovers after they had just three in the first half and scored 13 points off those second half turnovers to help lead to the road win. Entering Saturday, Wichita State was 108-10 at home in non-conference games since 2003. With the win, the Mean Green extended its winning streak to five in a row, which matches their longest winning streak all of last season. UNT has a quick turnaround as it faces Tulsa on Tuesday at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
