  1. God bless you David and yes RV I appreciate your efforts as well. Is it just me or had RV's continuing dedication to UNT been inspiring?
  2. I agree that the schools who are bolting have no interest in hanging around in a lame duck for the next 3 years. I am assuming that their respective legal counsels determined they have just cause.
  3. It's the Alamo all over again. It really brings tears to my eyes. Volodymyr Zelenskyy is basically a modern day William Travis. Putin is Santa Anna.
  4. I am stealing this topic from another poster, namely @NT80 but I thought it would be interesting to see where our fanbase stands. If you were to compile a listing of the top 5 items needing to be addressed with UNT athletics what would it be. 1). Football - underperformance given the resources and salaries/facilities 2). Baseball - The next time I have someone tell me that we can't afford baseball I think I will puke. How does La. Tech and nUTSAck? 3). Athletic Center - It is too small and too hidden away. Needs a major expansion asap. 4). Basketball facility - This could be either a new facility on the Eagle Point side or perhaps a revamp of the Super Pit which BTW looked absolutely fantastic with 8500 peeps in it. 5). Academic/Career support staff and building - we need to have a place for all of the athletes to get tutoring and academic/career advice. SMU is a good example as they tell their recruits we will be there to help you navigate your career path for life. The AAC is a huge step up, especially in terms of budgets, facilities, academic reputation and support. Wren has to formulate a new 10 year capital plan to address the future of UNT athletics.
  5. He’s a ⭐️ he ought to be named the conference freshman MVP
  6. Thank you @DemolitionDan for your sanity in an otherwise cesspool of negativity. Anytime there is a tangible opportunity to move the ball forward in terms of attendance and return customers, we have the usual suspects of @Mean Green Matt and his minions quick to jump on here to pour cold water on us and discount some tangible growth and progress which has been so hard earned. How about this, instead of bickering over whether or not the sell out is real or fiction, how about we try to build and retain the new fans that will show up based on the consistent success Mac has instilled? Exactly as Dan has instructed? Why can we not as UNT fans be positive when we have every right to be? And when will the AD decide to take advantage of these small windows of opportunities?
  7. On twitter and message boards UNT fans are the loudest about the SBC3 leaving and how they should be allowed to join AAC early. Correct me if I'm wrong but UNT was never in the initial discussion and was only picked because the AAC couldn't get AFC and CS and wanted to slow the WMC expansion into Texas. If this needs to be in the smack talk board feel free to move this thread, but I'm just like "Man, take your cake and be humble. You almost got left behind yourself or wound up in the SBC as well." read more: https://csnbbs.com/thread-942233.html
  8. How can you say this when you know he deserves at least as much as Littrell is getting?? Shame on you we expect better from you @GrandGreen
  9. She has not done well this year sadly.
  10. I’m super nervous about this contest. I truly am. Can’t get a solid handle on how it plays out. UAB is so good and is a matchup nitemare 4 us.
  11. You can decide not to name her but we all know who you are speaking to. I’m sorry but please don’t compare Jalie accomplishments to what Tina Slinker accomplished in her storied tenure here.
  12. I swear - if I hear the Ousmane was one of eleven kids story again I will cry. Can we get some fresh game notes please?
  13. I’m saddened by this. Just a terrible start.
  14. I think Vito has to be realistic in his predictions and I don’t begrudge him for that.
