‘24 OL Ray’Quan Bell - Westfield

Just picked up a Baylor offer. Looks like BU is starting to shadow our targets…similar to what SMU does. https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2022/02/21/this-week-in-txhsfb-recruiting-presented-by-chicken-express?ref=related_thumb -
2022 UNT FB Schedule Predictions
Tom McKrackin replied to Dannymacfan's topic in Mean Green Football
Well that’s all fine and good but I guarantee you Judy isn’t the type to get an amicable divorce. Not only will she sue you for exit fees she will also claim pain, suffering and irreperable damage. -
2022 UNT FB Schedule Predictions
Tom McKrackin replied to Dannymacfan's topic in Mean Green Football
I don’t agree with you in terms of this, even in a disappointing season we did manage to get to a bowl game. With the newly released schedule I don’t see him doing any worse next year. Benford was much more of a disaster in that particular regard. -
That’s a damn shame and they better have the game on and shouldn’t have done this in the first place if you ask me.

DALLAS - Conference USA has announced its football schedule for the 2022 season. The 14-team alignment for the 2022 campaign will again feature each team playing eight conference games, along with four non-league contests. A total of 169 games are scheduled over 13 regular season playing weeks, plus one week zero contest. Full Composite Schedule Full Team-By-Team Schedule The 2022 alignment will feature seven teams in the East Division and seven teams in the West Division. Charlotte, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion and WKU comprise the East Division, while Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Rice, Southern Miss, UAB, UTEP and UTSA make up the West Division. Each school will play every team in its division once for six games, while playing two cross-over opponents from the opposite division. Each team will reverse the location of its 2021 games against division opponents. The 2022 schedule complies with C-USA scheduling policies as approved by the Board of Directors. It is important to note that all games are subject to date changes and some dates are expected to move in the coming weeks in order to accommodate national television selections. A schedule of televised games will be released at a later date. Conference USA’s 18th annual Championship Game, pitting the champions of the East and West Divisions, is scheduled for Saturday, December 3. I too am pleased at the decision. I think a lot more people peruse this site on a daily basis than post.

Yes same for me. Much happier to see things that are positive to start off my browsing.

Agreed. And I know I will pay dearly for this prediction, but I just don't see us winning the FAU game. This has all the signs of a trapper. We have been on such an unbelievable run that it will have to come crashing down at sometime. It won't take away from what we have accomplished. I cannot wait to see the battles that await us in the AAC.

I just don't think we have anyone that can matchup well with their top player Souley Boum the transfer from San Francisco. He is averaging close to 20 points a game. He is too tall for JJ and Tylor at 6-4 and too quick for Aron. I said it could be by a big margin but I don't expect it to be. I think it will likely be very close unless we go cold from the 3 point line.

This game has all of the classic signs of a trap game for us. I expect us to lose and it could be by a big margin.

I agree with you. But it does not seem to be the case. In fact most of our assistants are doing high school roadshows that amount to nothing.

At what point does the NCAA try to regain control?
Tom McKrackin replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Mean Green Football
Off subject, but watching the 60 Minutes segment almost brought tears to my eyes. Green tears of sadness. I'm watching this amazing QB coach who has basically created two HOF QB's and now could likely groom another whilest we promote an OL coach for said position? My sadness turned to anger. -
I thought Stone did some nice work off the glass. Kid has some jump in him.

I was sitting nearby them. I couldn’t hear all of the conversation but I do know I heard Seth say, “At the end of the day…”. Also pretty sure I heard “Need to play well in all three phases…” and “there are no easy games in this league.” I also Seth speaking to some of the players before warmups. I am pretty sure he said, “You need to be ready when your number is called.”

Since entering the portal, the two have piled up offers from Oregon State, Kansas, Penn State, UCLA, USC, and West Virginia. More offers are likely on the way which means the Mountaineers will have an even tougher time reeling the two in but fortunately for WVU, there is a connection. Current West Virginia special teams coordinator and inside linebackers coach Jeff Koonz spent two seasons as linebackers coach at North Texas in 2017-18. Neither brother played for Koonz in Denton but he was a big part in their initial recruitment out of high school. Gabriel even thanked Koonz in his tweet that announced he was entering the portal. read more: https://www.si.com/college/westvirginia/.amp/recruiting/wvu-targeting-brothers-transferring-from-north-texas

Didn’t Tony Johnson play for us? -
Great show. I think the two of you have a good chemistry. Also like the fact you take time to answer the Q&A. In fact if I had a suggestion it would be doing more of the Q&A if time allows.

I think you make a valid point. Instead of crying about it perhaps we should be starting up a fund and contributing what we can.
