  1. Navy played two weeks ago against Army, and Middle Tennessee looked rusty after not playing since November 30. Of course, Navy is always ready to play.
  2. Rally House Flower Mound has been good for us. When they first opened, they had very little Mean Green stuff, but promised to get more in. In August, they gladly accepted one of the football schedule posters I distributed. They have sent emails promoting Mean Green merchandise twice in past couple of weeks. They are in a great location on 2499 just south of 407 in same center as Lowe's, Office Max, and Best Buy.
  3. B&N at the stadium should be open for a while on Tuesday.
  4. The tunnel at the front of the picture will be to our left, and then so will that end zone - opposite end from our student sections.
  5. I noticed some nice weather-resistant green jackets at the stadium store when I picked up my tickets.
  6. Students in 19 and 21, Brigade in 20.
  7. And I suggest that you not email him unless absolutely necessary, so that he focus on helping those who need it.
  8. I have been in Cotton Bowl Stadium for Dallas Texans (now KC Chiefs), Dallas Cowboys, and a Richardson High School state quarter-final playoff game against Abilene Cooper. Saw Cowboys first ever Monday night game there against the Cards, and saw last Cowboys game there in 1971 before Texas Stadium was completed a week later. Even though I was not following UNT closely during the NO Bowl years, December work schedule would have prevented attendance anyway. As stated in previous post, this will be first bowl game to attend in person. Got tickets today in section 23.
  9. I get email almost every day from Mean Green Club, the athletic department, or Mean Green Merchandise, but DID NOT get confirmation of my ticket order via email. The right way to have handled this is email confirmation of order and then email confirmation of shipping with a tracking number.
  10. Ticket office staff, including RV, is busy with will call, getting tickets ready for FedEx, giving out transit passes, AND selling a lot of tickets. One guy walked up to buy eight tickets while I was there this morning.
  11. Picked mine up late this morning. RV working the ticket desk and was first to ask what I needed. As Rick was looking for my tickets, I was next to a guy who was there to buy eight tickets. They are aware of the communication lapse on the $10 FedEx delivery, but they are working their tails off now. There must be hundreds of will call envelopes in trays on the desk. If you expected FedEx delivery but were not charged the $10, your tickets are probably there. Anyway, I got mine in section 23. I can relax and I can quit watching for FedEx truck. No wait, expect delivery of Mean Green HOD sweatshirt today.
  12. Called ticket office this morning. There is supposed to be a $10 extra charge on top of the $5 handling fee for FedEx delivery. The ticket office staff tried to notify buyers of this when they realized the $10 had not been charged. This was never communicated to me, and probably many of you. If they did not charge the $10, the tickets are in will call. This is per the person I talked to on the phone this morning.
  13. And it could be my last until I get confidence the ticket office is functioning properly.
  14. My first in person - assuming my tickets have not been lost. First time in last six years as a season ticket holder to be eligible. There were not nearly enough bowl games back in the late 60's for the great teams we had when I was a student.
  15. and one difficult step... Have FedEx deliver the tickets!!!!
  16. Thinking that chance of rain is later in the day since rain is in forecast for Thursday but not Tuesday. Believe our seats will be in sun (IF they ever get delivered), so may not need a jacket!
  17. FedEx came a while ago with a delivery that was ordered Monday and not due until next week. No tickets yet!
  18. Still waiting in Flower Mound. I kept waiting for basketball tickets that the T.O. failed to send. Had to use will call on first game, then go to T.O. for remainder. Really friendly and helpful folks in T.O., but seem to have issues with getting tickets out.
  19. Also don't forget most of that is deductible if you itemize on your tax return.
  20. I did not see RV there today. Of course, there were a lot of people I didn't see, but RV the most obvious.
  21. That makes sense if they are anticipating riders from the blue, orange, and red lines to switch to green downtown.
  22. Our merchandising programs have simply not had cold-weather jackets in green (so I bought black), any sweaters, or long sleeve button shirts. Hooded sweatshirts are sold out in most sizes. If it is 70 or warmer, I am already good. Anticipating it may be cooler, I will try to find something.
