  2. Yes, but I'm still not overly worried about the offense. We put up 30 on a defense that on average was allowing just 17 points. It's truly the defense that needs the most help.
  3. I did. Don't remember if he really explained why he said that, because I'd need some explanation...
  4. I walked by one side of Folsom Field during a day trip to Boulder back in August. Can confirm that there was barely any parking specific to the stadium. And from the side that I was walking on, the stadium almost looked like it was just another building on the block -- just a rather large one. Would've have even been able to tell it was a stadium if there weren't a few gaps that let you look at the innards of the stadium (press box, etc). Not sure if it would've looked better from one of its other sides.
  5. 101st?? Better than last year! :):):)
  6. Not sure how quickly the new fee was supposed to go into effect, but if it was supposed to already apply for the upcoming spring semester (which I doubt as tuition bills have already been sent) then it would delay the fee by a semester.
  7. You're actually missing about 9 more items. And it sounds like a lot, but every other college has fees on top of the base tuition as well. I wouldn't count them differently as such -- some of those are pretty crucial, such as library fees. At least they're being transparent, but subjectively I'd just roll things like that into the overall tuition.
  8. Call me crazy, but I honestly think this is a trend that will affect P5 conferences too. It'll be delayed, but it'll happen. There are just too many students now who are either becoming apathetic to sports, or are becoming too lazy to be social. There are also those who simply think staying for the full length of a game is simply a waste of time. A lot will go to a game until they get the feeling (whether true or not) that they know what the outcome is going to be, and they want to leave right then and there. I'm the same age as all these people, yet even I don't understand why. Instead it seems like they'd rather do other things that I'd consider fine if you have nothing else to do -- rather than being the one thing they'd rather do more. P5 conferences aren't affected by this as much because those who do care about sports and will seek to go to games and stay for the full duration will go to such schools. But give them enough "down" years and the trend will start for them too.
  9. They tried to rank them?? Oh dear, that's almost more difficult than rocket science. Just ask everyone on this forum. What I will say: the top three belong in the top three. I like the order but I'm fine with any order, as long as those three are in the top three. The rest, you can almost put in any order and you'd be fine. I think the ones at FAU the first time around aren't as bad as the author made out to be. And I'm not all that convinced that the chrome helmets fit with every combination. I actually liked them with the all whites the least. And I also think that the chromes are the worst helmet out of all our current choices. That's just how good our uniforms are. GMG
  10. It was just an opinion column. They've since published an opposing opinion column to complement it.
  11. Damn it, it's a little more difficult to hate on them now if they were able to see the humor in there and laugh about it. Maybe there'll be a little less bickering until we meet again next season.
  12. Also to be fair, I thought you said "for the number of people who left". Totally changes the meaning. I agree with what you actually said and not how I read it.
  13. I voted yes, although the (albeit small number of) comments on the Facebook post from NTD are all screaming to vote no. There's definitely still an issue among the student population that they don't understand the benefits of a decently-funded athletics department.
  14. To be fair, a 2.5 high school GPA is pretty low, especially if it's out of 5.0 (which a lot of high schools do because of AP/Pre-AP/other such advanced courses).

  16. I think this is a more acceptable reason for kids to decommit than otherwise.
  17. I think I read something that FAU was fired up against us the first time around because someone (I guess maybe Mason) said it was a mistake for FAU to schedule us for their homecoming. But that was before our first meeting. Not sure if that same quote was the focus of that question.
  18. Not sure what the hate is on the costume, I actually think it's pretty good. Would definitely consider it a solid B rather than C- like someone else said above.
  19. (Your own) Graduations are much more rare in life than bowl games. Go to your graduation is what I'd say.
  20. True, the pond is a lot further away from the admin building than shown in the video, but they probably had it that close because the shot they were going for looked better that way.
  21. Wow, 260+! He'd be a great option as a fullback to have an extra run/push threat besides our passing game.
  22. Yep, get yourself a trial on any streaming service as already mentioned above. They all carry ESPN. Only thing to note is that Sling offers two base packages, one of which does not carry ESPN (I think it's the blue that doesn't...go with orange or orange+blue).
  23. Agreed. Went on a vacation back in August where I wore UNT gear occasionally. Had people come up to me in Boulder and Seattle, it was great!
