  1. Surprisingly, Sling is the only of the major players that carriers BeIn (well, Fubo does too, but they're a far smaller player). DirecTV Now, YouTube TV, and PS Vue, for example, do not carry it.
  2. A good Miami team also doesn't help with attendance right now.
  3. So this is the important part to answer the point I brought up: Baker will receive retention bonuses on an escalating scale, beginning in 2019 when he will receive a $20,000 payment on Aug. 21. The bonus jumps to $30,000 in 2020 and $50,000 in 2021 on the same date in those years.
  4. Just because he's making $300k right now does not mean he isn't slated to get annual bumps to that number. You need to provide more details about the current contract before restating your question.
  5. I just got a call saying they have more in stock. You can pay over the phone or get them from the stadium store.
  6. Time for Wren to do another contract renegotiation and bump up that buyout fee. If anyone's going to steal away Littrell, they're going to have to pay a pretty penny to do so.
  7. Please, no Frisco Bowl. Please, no Army bowl game again. They already accepted the Armed Forces Bowl so stop saying "I'd love to play there if it's not against Army." I agree with that statement, but that's not going to happen. I think our best bowl option would be HoD. At least we'd also have the best chance at a good opponent there. Texas Tech would be my pick there although I know we'd be the underdogs. I'd still be pretty ok with the Independence Bowl, although I'd expect UNT attendance to be cut in half compared to HoD. New Mexico Bowl would be even less attended, but might still be ok if we get at least Colorado State. N.O. Bowl only if it's not against the Sun Belt (doubtful) -- we gain nothing by playing the Sun Belt.
  8. No because it gives context to readers who are less familiar with UNT. The gist: we went to a bowl last year (and lost it, but that's beside the main point here) and we're bowl eligible again. It reinforces the notion that he "has been impressed with what UNT has accomplished so far in two seasons under Seth Littrell."
  9. UNT also has a spot on the digital billboard on 35E near Swisher...I wonder if they swapped that out for an Army game ad as well.
  10. Wow he's explosive. If we get him, imagine in two years... Mason Fine a senior, Jalen Guyton a senior, and Deandre a junior. Plus a more experienced supporting cast at offense and hopefully some extra help at defense. 14-0 anyone?
  11. If I remember correctly, doesn't the NCAA say that you can only have a certain number of practices before a bowl game? So timing is irrelevant -- schools are allowed the same number of practices no matter if it's an early bowl or a late one.
  12. Did anyone who had to put their name on a list ever hear anything, or do they still not have the next shipment of these?
  13. Anyone who can see my original post (top of this page), my link has automatically turned into a recording of the entire game, for those who want it.
  14. My friends and I went there as well, and now and we're at Blind Tiger now. Great stuff!
  15. To me it's not even really a trap game. I would expect us to lose if we don't play the way I know we should be able to.
  16. Our game against UTSA was blacked out on ESPN3 as it was being aired by local stations in both DFW and San Antonio.
  17. We still have quite a few combos left. Theoretically speaking, one we haven't used yet is green helmet, white jersey, black pants. (Not saying it'd look good)
  18. It's super clean, has both of our two bigger school colors to satisfy those who think black shouldn't be one of them, and the matte version of the green helmet adds the cherry on top.
  19. I think it's pretty funny to see both UNT and LaTech boards beating themselves up. Majority of predictions on each board have the opponent winning. UNT - 38 LaTech - 37
  20. Frisco Bowl is at Toyota Stadium, not The Star. You may be thinking of the C-USA basketball tournament.
  21. I'm perfectly fine with playing Tech in a bowl.
  22. Frisco Bowl would only seat 18,000. DO NOT WANT.
  23. I'll be going to Ruston for the game as well. Same question applies to me as I currently have tickets on the alumni side (cheapest ones I found).
