  1. Apparent arm injury, so I've heard.
  2. *checks writer's bio* *sees he graduated from Indiana and not UTSA* Darn.
  3. They might not be saying that directly, but it's a logical consequence of trying to even out the betting sides. If they were to do it straight, then there'd be more money on the UTSA side, meaning that they think UTSA is better.
  4. I'd say the latter. Not even really both (Army is good but not that good), just honestly the latter.
  5. Game essentially over. Great win, Southern Miss
  6. Another touchdown. USM 20 UTSA 13
  7. And it just keeps going downhill.
  8. Currently on BeIN Sports. A second game to watch besides USM/UTSA since both teams are still on our schedule.
  9. Happy for the Cyclones. Wish we could've done something similar in Iowa, but with the way the team's growing, maybe we can pull something off against Arkansas next year.
  10. If I were a coach, it'd be my favorite word too. No shame.
  11. You know, as controversial as this has been, I actually like that from Wren, and here's why: What is a good driver for attendance (for at least one game)? A rivalry. One where the fans want to see absolute bloody murder of the football variety. What's something UNT has struggled with? Rivalries -- simply having any worth a damn. The one with UTSA is still in its infancy (please message me if you read all the trash talk going on and still don't think it's a rivalry), and the one with SMU is getting a restart (albeit a slow one because so far it's been filled with almost nothing but depression for UNT). Mentioning absolutely anyone else (MTSU or Rice are all I can think of that might be remotely close) is nothing more than you lying to yourself. We STILL don't have a UT-OU type of rivalry where just the mention of the other team's name injects us with intense emotion. What I see is Wren finally stopping what UNT's been doing for idk how long now -- being nice. We're the Mean Green dammit, time to light some fires!
  12. Only 41k? Wikipedia has them listed at 45k...last year. I don't think it would've dropped 4k from last year. But I'm sure they have a pretty significant online population.
  13. I can't take that site seriously because they have us losing to Rice.
  14. I'm going to be honest, this article is written horribly. Half of it just doesn't make grammatical sense. I'd take anything in there with a grain of salt. Example: "Interstate Highway 35E and the frontal roads along its side will be closed until late December, 2018." This suggests that the entire highway will be closed until EOY 2018, which is wrong. There also shouldn't be a comma after December.
  15. As a safe answer, I want to say no, it's not possible. I would imagine most bars have DirecTV and are ok with flipping channels, but that's it. ESPN3 isn't a channel per se that they can flip to. They'd need more equipment to get it up and running, and that'd require some early arrangement.
  16. Does anyone have a timestamp for when approx in the video he said that? Might want to make some GIF magic out of that if I have enough time (probably not).
  17. Good except for the last bit. We're in the Carolinas because UAB beat Coastal Carolina and then we beat them. We've had the Carolinas since Week 4. Beating Southern Miss got us nothing. Here's a GIF of the progression: https://imgur.com/a/0dJi8
  18. BRELAN THE LEGEND. Man do I miss having him on the team.
  19. Fine Wilson Guyton Orr Trice Littrell (Harrell) (Skladany...for now) (Perry...for now) Again, only comparing vs 2013 team.
  20. Long ago, but not at recent as I thought. They were in the WAC which wasn't FCS, and they were Independent when we played them in 2013 (legit thought they were FCS back then). But another correction: seems like they've decided to drop to FCS. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idaho_Vandals
  21. No they're currently in the Sun Belt, but getting kicked out after this season. Last I checked, they can still choose between remaining an FBS Independent or going back to FCS.
  22. The Big 10 was supposed to be the opposing team in both HoD bowls we were in, and that didn't seem to matter either.
