First time I've heard us be called SOIFA. Should I be insulted? Because that was weak.

We would want UTSA to be in a bowl as long as it doesn't knock out another C-USA team. The more bowling teams, the more money we get.

Despite the many qualities about Frank Wilson I don't like, one thing I did get from him out of his interview video is that he has VERY high expectations of his team. Honestly, I'm not sure how much happier he would've been had the score stayed 22-26. Almost seems like he's not happy until the team is in the Top 25. That's a mentality I kinda like...don't just measure yourself against the peers in your conference, but rather everyone in your division. Especially if you're in the G5. I think it doubles up the motivation to do better. For UTSA, too bad it's the conference that ultimately counts.

I still want to win the recruiting battles. Not to belittle our current amazing roster, but winning those would make Littrell's job on the field a lot easier!

I'm using this post to provide some food for thought... everyone keeps saying that student tickets need to be more easily obtainable. However, how would you accomplish this? I would say that it was/is pretty easy both before and after this switch to the digital ticket system. Before, you could either pick up your ticket in advance by stopping by the little ticket truck on the Library Mall, or you could get it right in front of Gate 4 on gameday if you're on main campus during lunch hours. All you needed was your student ID. Sounds pretty simple to me, and this system worked well for me for 5 years. Now, tickets are on your phone. You don't even have to go anywhere to get them. Just log in and boom, there it is. Yeah, there were some technical kinks at first, but I'm talking about the overall design of the delivery system in place. Both work just fine, and it's hard for me to think of anything that would make it even easier for students to get tickets.

If you go on the site right now and try to claim your ticket, there should be a timer for when your ticket becomes available. Mine is showing to become available at 1:45pm on Saturday (roughly a little over 4 days and 14 hours from the time of this post). Is yours showing something different?

I think sometimes the band forgets that they're not at the game and in the stadium for their own entertainment. I usually sit just to the left of them (when facing the field from our side of the stands) and while it's annoying for everyone else (myself included), they're having a hoot catching players who don't stop on the correct note, since each iteration adds one additional note.

I don't think our game against FAU is going to be a guaranteed win, unlike what seems to be the popular opinion. However, I'm not super afraid of them in the same way I'm not super afraid of UTSA -- who have they beat that's good? UTSA's 3 wins are all against terrible teams. FAU's 3 wins are against teams that aren't much better. BC (lol), a below average MTSU, and an ODU team that isn't nearly as good as last year. We just have to keep building on our momentum and destroy UTSA, then I think we'll be ok against FAU.
