  1. Enjoy it! It's good for the program and it's great for the University! Go Mean Green!
  2. Yeah, I loved seeing the pressure. There were quite a few throws that Broadway was rushed on due to our D closing in. This is what we need much more of throughout the rest of the season!
  3. It's not often you hear those words around here. Let's hope this is an upward trend that keeps going!! GO MEAN GREEN!
  4. Game is at half and still winnable...but we need to start scoring some freaking touchdowns!! Crowd was crazy loud at the beginning and slowly dying out. We need to win this game. We need to start clicking on offense and score some touchdowns!
  5. Glad to have you back and sobered up, UNTstormchaser!
  6. I won't be able to watch the Houston game due to a work commitment Anyone know of a way to record it online or find a recording of it? I know someone posted a recording of the K-State game but wasn't sure if someone from UNT did that or if it was someone from K-State. Any help would be appreciated!
  7. I really really want to be a UNT homer as I always am...but our offense in the red zone scares me. We had three touchdown opportunities handed to us on a silver platter by FAU's penalties and we couldn't convert. Our defense has been holding up well against teams, and kudos to them. But Houston is capable of putting up a decent amount of points and we need our offense to dominate the game to 1) Keep the defense fresh and 2) Put up more points than Houston. If we're able to keep Houston's D honest by throwing the ball around more effectively so that they don't stack the box and also convert in the red zone, I think we can win it. Unfortunately, our offense hasn't been great at doing those two things thus far. If Offense Clicks and Defense Stands North Texas - 27 Houston - 21 If Offense Struggles in Red Zone and Lets Houston Stack the Box North Texas - 10 Houston - 24 Here's to the offense clicking and the defense having a hell of a game! GO MEAN GREEN! BEAT HOUSTON!
  8. And that's one reason Public House is always a bad choice...
  9. My "Get it Out" = I don't understand how we can put up 14 against LSU's defense, 21 against K-State's defense, and then STRUGGLE to put up 7 on Troy at home. That being said, this team is still leagues better than we've been in recent history. The coaches are developing the players they have and we will continue to get better with new recruiting classes, depth, and experience. Mac is our man. Go Mean Green.
  10. Still an SEC win. Would love for North Texas to get a win over an SEC opponent. An upset is an upset. While I always hope they lose when we play them, I'm impressed by the progress that they've made in the past few years and you've got to give credit when credit is due. I'll root against them all the time when they're not in our conference and playing someone in our conference, but as of this year, they're still in our conference so why not support them when they win a game they weren't supposed to?
  11. In OT on a trick play going for the 2 pt conversion
  12. "Will you post some more highlight videos of Daniel Sams on the Go Mean Green forum?" - Said No One Ever.
  13. How'd he look? As tall and build as listed?
  14. I thought we played Indiana again in 2013? Maybe not...
  15. Contact Buffalo Wild WINGS and see if they'd entertain the idea. If yes, contact RV and give him a hot lead.
  16. Agree. As someone mentioned in another thread, I'm hoping that Canales was using tonight to get game experience with longer downfield passes. Would have been nice if they worked out, but I'm hoping that going into K-State we'll stick with the running package and short passes/screens to consistently chip away at them and have a much more consistent offense.
  17. Anyone know how much season tickets are up by this year compared to last?
  18. Hopefully they continue to come out for the rest of the season and then some!
