I love this. I hope Jub and Mercer can mend fences. Was Craig Way there? Way was not on the mic for UT yesterday. No one knew why. I suspect this is the reason. Mercer and Way are very tight.

We had very good talent leave when Trilli was fired and JJ was hired.

Recruiting and coaching are two different animals. Seems we had a good recruiter who couldn't coach his way out if a paper bag.

Maybe she can do for UT what Helwig and Trilli did for us.

As someone who works in broadcast sports, I really appreciate lighting and wiring. Especially wiring (we call it cabling and I was VERY happy to hear Apogee is pre-cabled.). You're right though, there are more sexy things to promote. I envision a sideline report about the junction box the camera op plugged into. "Thanks for that report, Bob. Let's talk about lighting for a minute..."

Kind of stoked about the KState game. There is a very real possibility I get to earn a paycheck while working that game. Manhattan, KS sucks and that would make the trip sweet.

Soccer signed a number of players to NLOI. One of whom is the daughter of a coworker and NT alum: Gabi Ortiz is a midfielder from Austin, Texas who goes to McNeil High School and plays club for Lonestar SC. TopDrawerSoccer.com rates Ortiz as a three-star recruit. She was named Second Team All-District 16-5A as a junior in 2011. Very proud of her. This signing made local news I'll provide a link if I can find it.

Twice in my collegiate career I went back and asked for a grade "reevaluation". One to change a B to an A. He said no. One to change a C to a B. This prof had me do extra credit work. Both grades were on the cusp. There is nothing wrong with talking to a prof about your grades but it's up to the student NOT the athletic dept.
