The argument wasn't whether some players have had legal problems, the argument was that UT looks the other way. Of the five players mentioned in the article, only 2 are still on the team and charges were dropped against one of them. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin.

Respectfully disagree. They are up there, maybe top ten, but not #1. There are a few schools in the SEC and in Florida I'd put above Texas. Also USC.

I'm fascinated by Dick Cheney's recent surgery. As I understand it, a pump was installed that moves blood from one chamber of the heart and pumps it to the aorta. Where the heart does this by beating (or pulsing), the new pump sends a steady stream. So if you were to check for Dick Cheney's pulse, you wouldn't find one. That's awesome, and weird.

I actually didn't use any examples. I used the FOX News version of the story, which also included Reagan. In the story that ran no other presidents were mentioned. It's not about party affiliation (I haven't voted for a democratic president in 20 years) it's about hypocrisy. I just don't remember this phony outrage when other presidents did the exact same thing. The last 3 presidents to do this just happened to be repubs.

Where did I blame Bush for anything? I'm just pointing out that other presidents have done the same thing, but if you have an ® next to your name, you get a pass.

Qualifying round for the nationals was this last weekend in Austin. I worked the event and was happy to see so many NT participants. Here's the story from: MeanGreenSports. We had a few qualify for Nationals but I don't remember who. Whatever the guys at A&M and Oregon are doing is paying off. Those two schools (and BYU as well) seemed to win or be in contention for every event. The highlite of the event was the mullet wearing, discus throwing freshman from TTech. I can't find a pic of the guy from the event, but here's his bio: Julian Wruck. As funny as that hair cut is, it pails to the do this cat was sporting. Mullet, half dyed red. It must have given him some extra strength, cuz he could toss that damn thing.

It's called criticism, Rick. Some of it's deserved. We didn't sweep through our conference. We have a low RPI. Knowing what I know about JJ, it's why I hope he sticks around another year. We are poised to have very good recruits and a MONSTER year next year. Things are finally green on our side of the fence.
