The voice of the Longhorns and UNT alum Craig Way will be in Denton next Friday 8/22. "The Sports Buffet" on am 1300 The Zone is on from 4-7 pm. Craig is one of 3 hosts. His part will be done from Apogee, I believe. Craig does this for most season openers (go to opponents site). It has special meaning for him bc of his friendship with Dunham, and his hustory with UNT and Dallas. McCarney is expected to be on for a segment and I'd bet Dunham is on too. I hope and pray we get to hear from Bill Mercer. It's doubtful coach will take calls, but flood the phone lines and call in. Be respectful. Craig has nothing but love for UNT and is one of the most knowledgable and nicest guys I've experienced in broadcasting. Friday 8/22. 4-7. GO MEAN GREEN !!!!!!

Nobody wants to remember a punt as a great play, but against MTSU, with the wind at his back, bouncing on what we called astroturf (more like cement), that ball traveled about 90 yards. Sorry, I don't remember the punter's name, but it helped seal the deal and start us on a run of 4 straight years of dominance.
