I agree with these "children." This is the most excited I have ever been about a Mean Green QB. Scott Hall gave you that Joe Montana/Joe Cool feel. Dajon has IT also. He also also better on the run than Hall, and has a stronger arm.

What Dajon needs to work on is Hall's decision making (which I think will come with game experience) and with his touch. Hall was the master of dropping the ball in a bucket when the DB's cheated up.

For the first time since I have followed the program I see the potential in a QB to be THE weapon. Instead of being a master of using the pass to hurt a defense focused on the run, he can be a QB who can make the defense worry about the pass, and that will allow the run game to bloom.

He isn't there now, but he is a red shirt frosh.

So you actually agree with the old guy.

No doubt DW has potential.

Also no gauruntee that he reaches that potential, and pretty much a certainty that if he does, it will happen in 2015 at the earliest. There are still work ethic and conditioning concerns with DW. Hopefully he has learned from previous mistakes.

I'm actually wondering how Anthony Wallace got to play for Oregon...and I mean real playing time. Is it that some of these transfers don't care as much once they transfer and have more than football on their mind/agenda?

I looked at the 21-0 deficit and starting thinking about Trice and Orr, not DT vs. DW.

I think we miss Orr more than anyone else that graduated.

Our MLB's don't make plays and cannot go sideline to sideline like he could.

The biggest problem with our defense right now is poorly we tackle.

We tackled poorly against UTSA last year and it looked like a repeat of that yesterday.

When we tackle well, we play well.

The offense is going to make their plays.

The key is keeping an 8 yard play an 8 yard play.

Right now, we miss and make it a 25 yard play and it is killing us.

Our offense is better than last year's, but our defense is worse.

DW is better than DT athletically without a doubt. DT knew the offense better than Dajon does at this time. that's the only thing DT had on Dajon. Even with dajons limited knowledge, the offense looks better though. By the end of the season, redshirt freshman dajon should be better than DT.
