Craphole lost by 30. Wish it were 70. Thank you, OSU.

FAU played 2 powerhouse programs to start the year, leaving a false impression that they were not that good. They throttled Tulsa yesterday, hanging 50 on them. Tulsa has obviously slipped, but the way FAU beat the tar out of them was impressive.

FIU played Pitt tough for 3 quarters AT HOME (are you paying attention, RV?) before finally succumbing by 20 some odd points.

Rice played TA&M much better than South Carolina, but still got blown out.

Marshall continues to look really good, blowing out Ohio at home.

Southern Miss is Southern Miss, losing big to 'Bama (but make no mistake, if we don't find a QB, we lose this game on Oct 18).

Right now, UAB would beat us by 30. They got down early to Alabama A&M before waking up and whooping their butt by 30. Yes, Alabama A&M would be a struggle for us at this point.

ODU had a pretty impressive win in their 1st year as a transitional FBS player, beating Eastern Michigan 17-3. Yes, I know it's Eastern Michigan, but they are a FBS program and member if the MAC.

MTSU beak WKU in a 3 overtime barn burner. Thank god we don't play either of these 2 teams this year. Both look like they are headed to a bowl game.

And UTEP had to pull away late to beat a bad New Mexico St. team. This game, coupled with what TTech hasn't done in its other games, makes UTEP's effort againstTech extremely suspect.

We need to get much better (ie: find an FBS QB) if we expect to win 3 or 4 conference games. Much much better. FAU and UAB are losses at this point, as is craphole and Rice. UTEP on the road won't be easy and FIU just proved they can be a tough out at home.

That is a 4 win season (maybe).
