UNLV head coach Bobby Hauck opening
statement
“Obviously we are thrilled to be playing in the
Heart of Dallas Bowl on New Year’s Day, which
is the biggest day in college football. For UNLV
to be participating on that day is a huge deal
for our university and our program. I’m excited
about it. As I said on the press conference for
the bowl game last night, congratulations to
Dan McCarney and their team. They have had a
great season and coach Mac has done a really
nice job. There are so real similarities to the two
programs. They haven’t had to wait quite as long
as we have for a bowl game but both teams will
be excited to go play on New Year’s Day and we
are really looking forward to the preparation and
going in there and having a great performance.”

Cool to hear how some of the UNLV players heard they were selected for the HOD bowl. They sound like some good guys who are genuinely excited to come to Texas to play on January 1. I really liked the response of their star cornerback from Texas when he was asked about returning to Texas. Darius Terrell names pops up in there too.

Thanks for posting the video link.
