On the Wednesday night 10 o'clock news, Channel 11's Bill Jones did a report on a great track athlete at Rowlett.......During the interview he interviewed one of the guys' track teammates---our incoming defensive back recruit Hilbert Jackson.

Just FYI... Hilbert was part of the 5A state champion track team in 2008.

Hilbert has run on the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400.

He is an exceptional athlete and a fantastic kid.

He also shut down Texas' Dan Buckner (from Allen) as a junior in 2007 when Rowlett beat Allen 37-32.

Hilbert can play.

Don't know if anyone saw, but Hilbert Jackson won another gold at the state track meet.

Hilbert was part of the 4x100 that took first and also part of the Rowlett team that won a second state championship.

Of the Rowlett team in Austin, only Hilbert is a 1-A football recruit.

Marquise Goodwin is going to Texas on a track scholarship.

Kyle Clemons is going to Kansas to run track.

Carl Perrymon will be playing Division II football in Oklahoma.

Really good news and thank you for sharing this. We cannot wait to see Hilbert in two-a-days!
