I don't believe Dale Hansen nor ESPN has the authority to fire Dickey and the only quote that I have seen from Rick Villarreal is that he will not be returning as head coach in 2007, leaveing the door open for reassignment and not buying out his contract. If Rick later stated that he was fired, I missed that.
