  1. I cannot find anything in there about Riley. I thought he was out this week with a shoulder injury?
  2. I wait for the day a premium subscription gets you a video feed like that.
  3. The Green Brigade played an incredible rendition of "America the Beautiful" for that game's halftime in honor of 9/11. I do not remember if the Red Raider band was there and if they joined us. That and the NO Bowl halftime show in which the Ram Band joined us to wave the Super Bowl American Flag across the field, those were some great times for me.
  4. I did not read into that comment as if he was talking about Riley's recent shoulder injury.
  5. I don't think he's trying to use apples-to-apples judgement to justify it could happen. The point was anything can happen. Nothing more.
  6. Why can't we just pass these guys up instead of following them up the ladder?
  7. So anyway, Tune would put on a white tie and tails and walk his cobra through the park on a leash. He named the cobra Beverly, and he taught it how to fetch and dial a phone. But then one day it bit the maid. So with tears in his eyes, Tune had to shoot the maid.
  8. Our reality is, upon Rodge's return we will be holding out breath every time he falls on that left shoulder.
  9. How can we forget the Tune-Tune double reverse that fools the safety and leaves J. Jackson all alone after beating the CB on the deep post.
  10. The Tide will need 8 mini-Ditkas to stop Cam Montgomery.
  11. Nathan Tune is suing Myspace for taking the name of what he calls everything around you.
  12. Did I ever tell you about the time Nathan Tune and I went horseback riding, but there weren't any horses around? Anyway, Nathan throws a saddle on my back and rides me around Wyoming for three days. Well, wouldn't ya know it, my stamina increased with each day, and I develop tremendous leg muscles. So anyway, Nathan decides to enter me into the Breeders Cup under the name Turkish Delight. And Im running in second place, and I'm running, and I break my ankle. So anyway, they're about to shoot me. Then someone from the crowd yells out, God bless him, "Dont shoot him, hes a human!"
  13. Nathan Tune is so good, he will win us another state title.
  14. Just stirring the pot here: haven't we been leaving points on the field for 2 years? I seem to recall making that observation during Dodge year 1, that we were flying between the 20s and having trouble finishing off drives. Still, we are in a much better position to win because our offense and defense are working together and managing the clock to our benefit.
  15. How many of you truthfully thought after the Ball State win this was a legitimate 8-9 win squad?
  16. I'm starting to think the two-back set is an ongoing experiment with Todge. I think it's a great formation, but it has not been that successful for us yet. Is he still figuring out what he can do with it? Also, maybe Dunbar was in there with Tune to offset the loss of speed that Riley took to the bench.
  17. Wishful thinking, or purely confused?
  18. Anyone else think Tune looked completely different from last year? I don't think it is a stretch to say he has watched Riley enough to understand Todge's intentions, and has made the adjustments necessary to drive this truck. He knows he is not as mobile as Riley, but so does Todd and they will gameplan (I hope?) accordingly.
  19. I didn't mind how it played out. The Ohio catch for the go-ahead win was ridiculous and a 1-in-10 odds to happen again. Otherwise, the game was our's.
