The NCAA is the problem. They are happy to ride the cash cow that is what we currently have. They are not going to draw district lines like some sort of UIL system. That would make too much sense? It is going to take some overhead power to throw dow the gavel and stop the BCS train.

I have never been to an attractive bball area. The status quo seems to be court + school-color seats + concrete floors/steps. I really like the Super Pit. I do not know a lot about the behind-the-scenes area.

You've got problems when you average 1.9 ypc. They are not going to win many games if that becomes a trend. Also (UNT defense)... what?

I won't ever forget those two. Might not be a bad idea for a seperate thread/theme: best pair of safeties Mean Green has ever had? Cornerbacks? etc... Buckles and Jones are up there as some of my favorite defensive players ever.

First Cobbs and Galbreath. Then Jamario and Cobbs Now Nwigwe and Robertson. We have a long history of great DDs.

As a last ditch prayer, keep an eye out on this site. They often pick up the video/audio feed streaming from athletic departments. It's inconsistent, and I question the permissions involved in getting these done, but I have used it before. Warning: it is not uncommon for them to list the game during the week and then remove the link on gameday (probably due to a department throwing down the gavel on this site. I have even once had the experience of catching a game feed moments before they removed the link from the page. I was able to continue viewing

Anyone else notice Special Teams coverage after our first touchdown? The kickoff unit swamped the return man like 5 missiles that couldn't be stopped. I could tell they came to play.

We have some great Dickey alumni that take pride in their successes on and off the field. I know you only intended to express positive things towards Dodge; but...well, some of these guys I just mentioned read the board and might take exception to some of your comments.

When you've got a tradition of winning, every loss is a disaster. When you have a tradition of losing, a win makes the AD and coach saviors.

Avoiding things I've already said: I can't wait to see Carey and Lewis get going. Cam runs so hard. <3 I agree about Drake and Gill. They really complete the OL I like the tempo Riley puts into this offense. One thing that hasn't been touched re: Riley... I was really impressed with his arm on the run. Most guys seem to lose accuracy and/or zip once they roll out or improv, but I don't see that at all with him. Royce is a beast. I hope he gets those 6 points back somewhere down the line, and I believe he will. Did Mosely get any touches? I don't recall, and will watch the replay. I think his downhill running is great, and am confused why we don't see more of him.
