That would be good for UNT if C-USA isn't in the cards, but I don't think Tulsa or UTEP would want to make this move. Isn't the money (TV contract) significantly better in C-USA than it is in the MWC? I thought I read that some where. If that's they case, then there would be no incentive to migrate from C-USA to the MWC. Keith

This topic again? It's bordering on obsessive. Why does anyone care *where* someone else doesn't attend the game? Would it be better if they didn't attend the game back in their dorm rooms, apartments or frat houses? Maybe they aren't sports fans or hate football. What about all the students that leave Denton every weekend to go back to mom and dad's house? At least these individuals are coming out of their caves and participating. That is huge IMHO. Step 1 - Build awareness and some semblence of school pride. Step 2 - Get or keep students on campus and get them close to the stadium so they can experience the game day festivities and reinforce that budding school pride. Step 3 - Get them in the stadium. Step 4 - Fill the stadium. Step 5 - Feel sorry for all those that *have* to hang out on the hill during the game because that's as close as they can get. We're at about step 1.5. Keith

I don't understand this. This is one of our go to excuses that the defense simply gets worn down because they are on the field so long, but the facts don't back that up. We have won the Time of Possession battle in all 7 games this year. Some by pretty wide margins. It seems to me there is plenty of time for the defense to rest. How could they possibly be more tired than the other team's defense who has actually been out on the field longer than ours? Keith

College football fan coming to enjoy a night of local football, that's fine. Wear whatever you want. Your money is good here. Student enrolled at North Texas coming to a home game sporting another university's jersey, well that's just wrong in so many ways. We were saving space for Houston's band ;-). The view from the "tips" is actually pretty nice. It is just a long way up and down if you want something from concessions of have to use the restroom. Those were also probably in the sun the longest, so people squeezed lower in the section or simply stood along the lower bowl railing. Keith
