    I mean the man tried to help and wasn't getting paid a dime for it as I understand. He did the best he could. And he did a LOT for UNT in terms of building facilities. RV took UNT places they had never been before. Why can't some of your people just let your hatred for RV go? #WITCHHUNT

    Yes but remember, he really covers everything not just athletics. I hope that he cares for athletics or is compensated to do so. There are a lot of departments fighting for the same money at UNT. Have been for years.

    You seem like a pretty smart guy, but any UNT fan with half a brain knows that Al Hurley didn't give two 5hitz about athletics. He wanted the benefits of athletics without giving the department a dime. So yes in that respect he took money that rightfully belonged to athletics.

    If I were a UTSA fan, or even a part of the admin there, I would be very disappointed in this charlatan. He wants more everything and basically admits is cause he wants to cover his own ass. Here’s an idea, why doesn’t he donate some of his 2 million a year salary to the cause? I mean, if he truly cares like he says he does?

    I never understood why UT system lets some of their schools play football and not others. Seems like they could take some of the budget from UTSA and UTEP to allow UTA to field a team. If I were UTA I would demand it!

    It isn’t a bad thing for some of us to feel a sense of loss when we lose our very best coaches and players in the history of the program either. You seem to let that go far too easily in my opinion.
