  1. He is very well spoken... such a great ambassador for North Texas.
  2. I don’t remember this being posted but Staduim did an interview with Mason Fine on the upcoming 2018 season. Worth a look
  3. Army?!.....At the twelve spot? No way.
  4. That’s a really weak excuse. https://mobile.twitter.com/Asher_Alb89/status/1024746945473114112/photo/1
  5. Last I heard anything about him he needed a new phone. I hope he resolved that issue.
  6. It sounded more like the coaches didn’t want to trash a system that they might be apart of and or benefit from in the future. That being said I care more about what the athletic directors and school presidents are doing to get a seat at the “CFP table”.....which from what it looks like, not much.
  7. Did not enjoy seeing all the FAU highlights against North Texas during the recap episode. The season can’t start soon enough 😐
  8. I was hoping they could play at the new venue this upcoming season but it’s worth the wait.
  9. I agree. The softball game against Oklahoma was sold out but was cancelled due to bad weather. I think softball is the most popular or is rapidly becoming the most popular women’s sport.
  10. I said conditions weren’t ideal not that it was the only reason these schools don’t have baseball. I see your a sensitive person so I’ll leave it be.
  11. Those are bad examples as they all play up north where the weather isn’t exactly ideal for baseball. Excluding Colorado because no one cares about baseball in Colorado, but the rest of those programs I would say is a big reason why they don’t play baseball. SMU discontinued baseball in 1980, they couldn’t afford to pay for a baseball program while also paying the salaries of it’s football players.
  12. Hopefully the scheduling is slow because they’re trying to get some good matchups....hopefully.
  13. Kiffin has shown the ability to bring in talented coaches to his staff. He has name recognition, that’s huge and it can’t be discounted.
  14. That picture they used sums up the defense last year.
  15. I like that he can stretch the floor. I believe that in today’s game a player like him is much more valuable than a traditional center that can only score in the paint. I think he fits the system McCasland is implementing.
  16. Marshall played them really close in the rat’s mouth last season (Boca Raton). Marshall gets FAU at home and honestly I think that Marshall will win that game. Singletary is the key to FAU’s season.
  17. Colt Brennan was the guy I think. I remember Hawaii had a string of quarterbacks that did really well in the system, Timmy Chang was the other I believe. Going back to Mason Fine, if he can pull of a signature performance against a P5 school....it will go a long way, he’s going to have the stats but it’s the level of competition that will put him at a disadvantage to be talked about in those terms. If anyone could pull that off, it’s Mason Fine.
  18. WKU had that headache with Robinson and now they have another 5-Star...hire his dad to make sure he doesn’t bolt. This thing is pure folks...nothing to see here 😅
  19. Went to the same high school as Cole Hedlund apparently.
  20. You can’t overstate the importance of finding the next great QB for North Texas. Exciting times!
  21. Who is more desperate...Kansas? Or someone who accepts the job at Kansas?
  22. Athlon Sports take on Mason Fine, they’re far more impressed. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/college-football-starting-quarterback-rankings-2018 16. Mason Fine, North Texas The Mean Green showed marked improvement in coach Seth Littrell's second season and are likely to begin 2018 as the favorite to win Conference USA's West Division once again. Led by Fine, a high-powered offense was a big reason why North Texas claimed the division title last year. Fine started all 14 games for the Mean Green, throwing for 4,052 yards and 31 touchdowns. The Oklahoma native's 4,052 yards and 31 passing scores set new single-season records for the program. The huge statistical year also allowed Fine to earn first-team All-Conference USA honors.
  23. Getting knocked out cold probably had something to do with it.
  24. But can he shoot the 3-ball? 🤨
