I love studying population numbers and it's crazy that 19 states lost population between from year-to-year, even with the pandemic... considering that only 3 states lost population from 2010 to the 2020 censuses.

Now there will only be two teams in the league we won't play in 2022, so everyone should have a relatively balanced schedule.

And maybe we'd just have to have an expansion plan in place. Of course in general, college athletics' attendance is going down. In a few years, UNT will have a bigger arena than Baylor and would have an arena of equal or greater size than four teams in the new Big 12. And the three smallest football stadiums in the new Big 12 will be from the four new additions (Albeit, they all seat at least 40,000 and not 30,000..)

Now we as fans need to do our part to keep him here for the long run by showing up. I don't care if we're playing NCTC, I want to see at least 4,000 at the home opener next season. I believe the Maniacs are getting funds from the school to keep this thing going. I heard they would be a part of freshman orientation to get the next generations to know that we're a basketball school!

Guess I'm the only one here not a fan of Coach K. Of course they'll let him go out on top. Final Four match-up against UNC will be the icing on top. Duke will pull it out in overtime. I was much more intrigued with last year's finalists, 3 of the last 4 teams vying for their first national championship. This year's line-up is disappointing. If I had to choose, my preference of winners would be North Carolina, Villanova, Kansas, Duke.

Best case: Lofton doesn't get drafted, Grant woos him to North Texas Neutral case: Lofton gets drafted, Grant stays Worst case: Lofton doesn't get drafted, returns to LA Tech, Grant moves on Worstest case: Lofton doesn't get drafted, Grant moves on, Grant lures Lofton there (I think the worst would actually be the worstest, but this would be the biggest gut punch)

This is what I worry about. Mac stays for just two more years, but Hodge gets swooped up the year before and now we start over. Could Jareem Dowling take over? He's also been with Mac since Arkansas State, has 15 years of coaching experience, and the players love him.

That source could be that stupid Twitter account. Not gonna lie, I'd be pretty salty with Mac if he were to leave us for SMU, which I still don't think will happen. Doesn't make sense.
