I do not mind the black jerseys, though I think other colors like blue or red go with black a lot better than green. However, I have never like gray jerseys for anything. I agree they need to go. If the story above is true, that is too bad. But I look forward to seeing the white jerseys back next year.

Hopefully Mac is already working on building a solid nonconference schedule (ideally some home games against said schedule) with another good preseason tournament invite already in there.

Is the CTI also a pay-to-play tournament?

The bright side is we get to trade one local conference tournament for another. And I selfishly love it because I live 20 minutes away from Dickies Arena.

We got a two seed in the bracket with the weakest #1 seed (Oklahoma). Hate to look ahead but we may have three games at the Pit before MSG.

Like many of us I'm sure, it's initially hard for me to "get up" about the NIT. But I'm sure those feelings will evaporate as soon as the ball is tipped Tuesday night.

Crazy that an 18-15 team grabs a #1 seed. But like OU's chances of getting upset in the first two rounds as much as I like our chances of playing at home until the Final Four in MSG.

Has the CBI always announced bids this early? Must be needing to swoop up as many willing participants as possible.

People have been quick to put down our team after today, which is shocking. Well how the turntables after everyone was saying we wouldn't be as good this year after our Buffalo and Miami collapses. The reality is that it's been a great season and it would take more than one hand to count the number of games we probably should have lost but didn't. "Luck" was going to run out. It is a harsh reality for mid-majors that one loss will turn a "strong 12 seed" into NIT participants. And today was really deflating. But if the committee leaves us out, we need to get over it and be there at the Pit to support the team all the way to MSG. Different group of guys, but I remember Mac's first team here at UNT that got off to a 14-10 overall start then lost 6 of their last 7 conference games then got bounced by #10 seed LA Tech in the first round of the conference tournament. Mac was able to rile them up to of course make their historic CBI run. I know these guys are pissed as well, and if we are NIT-bound, I know Mac will get them motivated to make it to the Big Apple.

In my poor defense, the games that have been on Stadium that I know of, I have not watched from home or my own device (Both LA Tech games, UAB). And it was quicker to ask the question while at work and get away with it than trying to find the answer on Stadium's website.

I may get downvoted all the way to University Park, but can someone fill me in? Why are we already claiming ourselves to be three-time champions of Conference USA (and three years in a row), when we have not won the regular season title, or the conference tournament three years in a row yet? I am dandy with claiming the championship in 2019-20 since we had the best conference record before the canceled tournament, but calling it back-to-back-to-back already doesn't sit right with me. Nobody asked what I thought, though. Carry on.

I am nervous as hell for tomorrow now. School with a lot of local alumni that we will have to beat for a third straight time with not as many fans present than if the game wasn't on a Thursday morning

I would say Rice and WKU. I definitely don't want to see LA Tech again and I was even hesitant to say Rice because even though we drubbed them both times, it's hard to be a team thrice in a year.

Apparently Preview Day is in March now. Too bad they didn't take advantage and give all the prospective students tickets to the game today. With the little dribbles and their families, might be 400 people here.
