  1. He retweeted the junior highlights of a DE from LA. That DE follows LeBlanc the father and Ek so I wonder if we've been looking awhile. Or maybe just coincidence.
  2. Other than Boise and UH, who are you referring to?
  3. Yes, he and Brandin Byrd both came in for 2010 from Copperas Cove as Todd Dodge recruits, not a redshirt between them. Brelan set the school record for kick return yards as a freshman, including kick return touchdowns against ULM and K-state.
  4. Interesting that the Army team we smoked in NY and took to OT in the HOD bowl is ranked at 75 while we're 50 spots below.
  5. @Brett Vito I saw you mentioned 3 of the new coaches. Was Koonz out there as well?
  6. Representing us well with the hat while representing the Saints with his jersey. GMG!!
  7. No brainer for both schools. Awesome work Wren Baker!
  8. 100% agree. Mack and other notable alums can only say yes if you actually ask for their support. Time to build/rebuild those relationships.
  9. And zie high school version of Mr. Hosley. http://www.hudl.com/profile/1544197/christian-hosley
  10. I think Coppell's is way nicer.
  11. No, but there may have been a restructuring more to Wren Baker's liking.
  12. He was brought in that way and at a lower salary than offered too.
  13. Don't forget that Littrell's contract was originally supposed to be close to $1M but he intentionally accepted a lower pay to get better assistants. Maybe we are just making him whole again.
  14. I agree with most of you, I'm a little leary of this too, however I do agree with @BTG_Fan1 that SL and Mac are different. You have to look at the career paths. The P5 schools weren't looking to hire a retread like McCarney so it was foolhardy for RV to give an extension like that to a nearly 60 year old man. Littrell is on the radar of a lot of folks because of the relationships he has built as both a player and coach and at 38 years old many schools will be interested that wouldn't be if he was 58. If he continues to be successful, it will be hard to keep him. Everyone wants to catch that star while its on the rise. I'm hoping that he will be like Johnny Jones and only leave us for his dream job(OU) but that may just be me dreaming.
  15. Seems several had programs that were killed in the 80s and 90s. Some title 9 casualties, too. 3 good responses
  16. I'd agree with that. I just view the 2001-2004 conference games as games we were supposed to win, not something we rose to, similar to when we bring in BethuneCookman(I choose to forget Portland). We rose to beat Cincy in the bowl game. I'll give you that one for sure. The Belt was different by the time Dodge showed up. Dickey had already shown he couldn't win the Belt anymore once Troy and FAU replaced Idaho and Utah State. Well, except for 2004 after he graduated but I get your point. Booger was 2nd All-BigWest as a freshman, and 1st All-SunBelt the next 3 years. He was definitely a gamechanger. I'm hoping we can get Hambone or @Cooley's nephew to do the same.
  17. Forgot to point out he was a 2017 kid. Google results showed he got no offers by signing day and said he was walking on somewhere but the google results cut that part off. The link to the story is dead so I don't know where he is planning to walk-on.
  18. I guess we should drop down to the Sun Belt again for some cheap wins then since who you beat no longer matters. What about Troy, ULM, and FAU? The '01 TCU team was 6-6 and played in CUSA. The '02 Arizona team was 4-8. The '03 Air Force team was 7-5 in the MWC. The '04 Baylor team was (3-8). Not all the teams you listed were the juggernauts then that they are today.
