Beleive it or not, I think Flanigan really was never given a chance as an OC here. Dickey's offensive philosophy is run, run, run, & run some more. He was only doing what he was told to do. We all know RF was pretty damn good passing QB in college. So he has the experience to use as a coach. I have a feeling Buffalo will not be a predictable, one dimensional offense under Flanigan.

Kansas is a decent program on the upswing. Mangino is pretty damn good coach IMO. Nebraska recruited a pretty good QB this year. They will be back.

JMo should be playing around 215 and no bigger than 220, IMO. For his running style, he needs to get under 220.

Agreed. I think a license a plate is mor than enough. The ShortHorns fans I've met that are that devoted are ones that aren't even Alumni.

I'm in no way, shape, or form, a fan of the ACLU, but: Some student-athletes may feel pressured to pray. They shouldn't have to feel like they MUST adhere to other's religious beliefs in order to feel like they are part of the team. Yes, I know they don't have to, but really, how would it look if 98% of the team is Christian? NMSU is not a school with ties or a basis on religion. They aren't BYU, Baylor, etc. It should stay that way. *Flame Suit on*

I agree with you 100%. It'a amazing how the media hypes up ND and Joe Public eats it up like a hobo on a ham sandwich. ND is a slightly above mediocre, IMO. Willingham pulled the same thing in his first season winning something like the first 8 games. This is just a marketing hype from NBC who dished out 100million to ND for a rights to broadcast games.

I'm using the word because it seems everyone who's criticized DD has been labeled a "HATER" by others. I'm no hater and think DD is great person. However, his coaching skills............ The "labelers" seem to be tilting the poll in favor of "this poll sux".

If NT won a couple of OOC games and lost a couple of Belt games, you would think a regional Bowl would come calling??? I think it would happen.

Hey, it would be one more OOC win than all of last year. It could be looked at as a slight improvement. I hate SMU so much, I might be forced to take it.
