Wasn't there a rumor where June Jones was considering stepping down at Hawaii after this season? They've been down for a few years now and have lost the Hawaii Bowl 2 years in a row... Regardless, I'd take June Jones in a heartbeat.

Very intriguing. I've always wondered why more programs did not offer him a job. He must love being an analyst. NT won't be able pay him BCS conference money, but an incentive laden contract similar to UTEP's Mike Price might do it. How much would attendnce rise if ND's former coach took over at NT? Recruiting & attendance would receive an instant impact.

Sean Payton? The G-men during the last few years of Fassil's tenure had the worst offense in the NFL. So bad that Fassil stripped Payton of his playcalling duties halfway through the season. The Cowboys are doing well this year and are doing so with a highly improved defense. The offense is way too conservative, IMO.

A friend of mine, who is a NMSU alum & former player, is really upset over this season. They're biggest games every year are against Utep & New Mexico and they lost both.
