Brett,

I am not going to go as far as to boycott the Record Chronicle, but your blog sub last night really hit a nerve. I am talking about "Southlake North" comments. That was uncalled for, and showed a total lack of class on his part. I do not believe that the casual fans read your blogs, but ones that take their support of the program seriously. I know that we have more challenges than some wannabe "Randy Galloway", but I hope you will take time to speak to your co-worker, and I look forward to a written apology to the Mean Green Nation.

I'll second those thoughts, but this has happened in the past:

Oct. 13, 2007, the blog was handled by Jeff Andrews during coverage of the ULM/UNT game. The reference was initiated there, and later he had made a backhanded apology prior to coverage in the blog during the WKU/UNT game a month later. The apology asked for forgiveness and stated it was unprofessional and that he had felt guilt for making it.

Now the same blogger, nearly a year later makes the same comments. Another apology won't cut it in my book, but rather a statement in a paper would be bet this time around.

I second this.
