Casimiro and Norris?

I am saying I know a lot more about that situation and that i know why he isn't here.

But you don't know if JJ would have done the same thing.

Trey wasn't able to compete at the Sun Belt level, much less CUSA.

A tough conversation would have been had with him, no matter who the coach was at the tome

Be mad about the timing if you want, but to think Benford is the reason Trey transferred is just completely ignoring his inability to compete here. .

Lol. This is ridiculous. Travis is basically trying to tell you he's heard directly from the horse's mouth, and I would be willing to bet, several of the horse's former stablemates.

And while we're talking about horses... not to beat this already rotted corpse of a dead horse again, but Trey Norris was a freshman last year with room to get better. Holmen is a very nice player for us now, but do you remember his contributions in 2009 when he was a freshman?

Remind me again.

Where did Trey transfer?

Where did Trey transfer?

South Dakota. A school that he already had ties to since they were recruiting him out of HS. And another reason was probably due to the fact that he was let go EXTREMELY LATE in the year, where only a few schools even had openings for him. Luckily, a school that he was already familiar with had a spot open for him! I'll bet all of the other SBC schools would have been interested, but he would not have been released to them.

And if you're trying to insinuate that his level of play was so poor that only USD would take a flyer on him... then maybe we should ask these same questions about Roger Franklin. He probably wasn't going to contribute at OSU after his lackluster Freshman campaign, and transfered to little ol' UNT so he could get some PT. Right? I mean, if you didn't know about his dad, that's what it looks like.

Whatever... the point in all of this is that you are drawing conclusions based on what you know, which you have to admit, is very little. Travis is trying to say that he knows much more about the situation and that you are incorrect in your conclusions. Can you agree with that?

No., I am drawing conclusions from what I saw on the court. I called this as soon as we signed TJ and someone pointed out we were one over on scholarships.

Yes, Roger wasn't going to get much time as a 6'4" power forward in the Big 12. He is even undersized for the Belt. Didn't realize this was a big secret.

After playing against him, I bet none of the other SBC schools had interest, and I bet a few had late scholarship openings.

I doubt he ever starts at S. Dakota.

And yes, I knew that's where he went.

I do think it is interesting that out of every player that I have seen escorted through campus by the coaches, it was Norris that was the only one that was escorted by JJ. I know JJ wanted him out of high school and I know that JJ was pitching it pretty hard to him on his visit. I never saw that from the other players by JJ.

I liked Norris, was clearly not the greatest PG. And, if we had to cut someone loose, i understand that it was going to fall on him (though, I think he is better than Clark). But, I don't want to be dishonest and say it was because he didn't want to play here. And no, I doubt JJ was going to cut him.

just sayin'.
