I am going to head over to the Cajundome here in a few minutes for UNT's doubleheader against Louisiana-Lafayette, but before I do there has been a little movement on the football recruiting front as we head toward signing day.

I swapped text messages with Chase Walling, who said his in-home visit with UNT's coaching staff went well the other night. I don't know how it couldn't go well with Dan McCarney and his assistants -- offensive coordinator Mike Canales and offensive line coach Mike Simmonds. All three have dynamic personalities and are good coaches as well.
