Them wuz the good ol' days. Maudie went to TSCW, so when I picked her up for the parade and the game, I snuck her over to my apartment for lunch and the snuck her into the game. Back in those days...as wrong as it was, you didn't bring TSCW girls to the NT campus and admit it. Those who went to NTSC in those days know what I mean. Thank goodness, times have changed.

Anyway, Maudie became a real Mean Green fan. She really liked Abner.

Back in '57 I too dated a girl from TSCW. She liked me alot and I talked her into transfering over to NTSC. She finally agreed but I lost track of her somehow. She had gone to Highland Park HS so I was able to stay in contact since she lived with her parents during the Summer. Somehow she (or was it I) broke it off but I've always wondered what happened. I don't think she would look like Maudie but all these years can really do it to ya.
