Sounds like a great fund raising idea for the athletic department.

“I'm really disappointed that this is going to occur on Sunday when people should be in church. I hope they behave themselves and keep their clothes on, but I'm not sure they will because strippers are trained to take off their clothes."

This comment by the city council member is the real story here. Strippers should be banned from floating down a river because of their career choice? And "trained to take off their clothes"? As if this is their everyday 24/7 behavior. We'd better keep our men and women in the armed forces off of the river too then, after all they are "trained to shoot people." Sheesh.
