North Texas Longhorns?!?!

Random sighting at Grapevine Mills. This guy at the Steak/Shake had a shirt that said "North Texas Longhorns" on it complete with longhorn and burnt orange, and I thought I was in some messed-up alternate universe. Thankfully, it's for some kid's sports team, I believe.

Still...I thought the shirt and the name to be entirely sacreligious.

I had similar feeling one time when I saw a bumper sticker that said something like “North Texas Cornhuskers”. I guess Nebraskans have to stick together wherever they are. It was a little confusing when I first saw the sticker.

some of us are longhorns and meangreanandproudofit because we have degrees from both schools. green longhorn

Don't say that too loud you or you might be run off the board!

I have taken classes at 5 different universities, but have two degrees from NT. I still root for these other schools (not over UNT under any circumstance), but get chided from time to time for not being loyal.
