Always seemed odd to me that on our own scoreboard, we didn't have enough room to write out "NORTH TEXAS." Somehow "N TEXAS" or "NO.TEXAS" just doesn't sound as good. Same thing on the Interstate sign-"NO TEXAS BLVD, NEXT EXIT." GO MEAN GREEN

Pollock-With respect to your friend, when we as ardent NT fans stop going to games to protest anything (coaches, parking, restrooms, etc) it only hurts our program. Whatever one's opinion of DD, the program will still (hopefully) be here long after he is gone. We need to continue to not only buy season tickets, but to put more butts in the seats than ever before. When and if we do get a chance at another coach, one of the first things he will look at is our attendance numbers. Grumble if you wish, but do it from your season ticket seat at Fouts. GO MEAN GREEN

If offered, couldn't DD take the job at Kansas State ? Contracts only protect the coach, not the school. I hope he is offered and takes the job and is wildly successful. Then I hope we get someone that is happy to be at NT and is wildly successful. GO MEAN GREEN

I can assure you that I don't know ANYTHING about SMWho football, but with such greats as Doak Walker, Don Meredith, and (forget his first name)Ford, I would be surprised that RF is featured frequently in the SMWho record book. In any event, I would hope he was a better quaterback that what I preceive him as an offensive coordinator. I don't know how to do it, but I would like to see a poll as to the likelyhood of RF being the OC at North Texas next season. I for one don't see him back. GO MEAN GREEN
