You forgot to mention Boise St. & South Florida. The Bulls have no stadium, yet, they sit in the driver seat for the Big East's BCS birth in their very first season in the conference. Boise St. ,who went D1A around the same time NT did, would embarrass this team in a head-to-head matchup. Let's not forget, Idaho is a recruiting hot bed like Texas, right? Oh and one more thing, this team has lost both games against a university that didn't even have a football program 5 years ago. FAU was 1-8 before facing NT. Support your school with open eyes. Not blindly.

So who is responsible for bringing these guys in? Who is responsible for assessing talent and approving the move to offering an athletic scholarship? Only one person comes to mind.........

You're kidding, right? Without question, Matt Phillips should start. You said it yourself, this is a failed season. This is a time to take chances and see which young players will have the ability to contribute for the following season. Meager has done very little when given the opportunity. Phillips has done more with the little opportunity he received. Pretty cut n' dry, if you ask me. And you didn't, but I'm saying it anyway.

Considering where this program should be after what this team has accomplished the last 4 seasons, I'd say YES. Ask this question again when this team is sitting at 2-9 at the end of the year.

Most of the loyal fans, myself included, support NT and their players. Those loyal fans will slowly turn their backs as DD continues to run this thing into the ground. And that is where the line has to be drawn. These young men deserve a chance to be put in positions that will alow them to succeed. This team has as much, if not more, talent than previous years. With that said, the coaches are not doing their jobs. That is my opinion and you are entitled to yours.
